Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, J.K. Rowling does.
My Challenge:
1.
Must contain a pairing in which the people concerned are from
different generations.
2. No incest (I really think I should try
to write something which no one would find objectionable).
3. Must
contain a Boggart.
4. Must contain the words "write me a
story!"
5. Must contain the words "irksome" and
"monstrosity".
6. One of the characters must dye their
hair.
7. Must end happily (sorry Rachel).
What's Wrong With Blondes?
I walk into our bedroom and my jaw drops. Severus is standing there. Now, taking into account the fact that we live together, that probably doesn't seem like such a strange occurrence. However there is a reason for the shock (shock, abject horror, whatever) I exhibit and the reason is that Severus is blonde.
I make a small, involuntary choking noise in the back of my throat and Severus whips round to face me. He stares blankly into my face. "Severus?" Nothing.
I take a step closer and suddenly the room is filled with a blinding light. I squeeze my eyes shut.
"RIDDIKULUS!" I open my eyes a crack to see 'Severus' become dark-haired again then disappear and the real (dark-haired thankfully) Severus step out from behind the wardrobe door.
He walks swiftly over to me and reaches up a hand to push my chin gently. Embarrassedly I close my mouth which I realise is still open. "I thought you were still out."
I'm surprised to see that Severus' cheeks are tinged slightly pink. I raise an eyebrow. "Your worst fear?" He scowls and mutters something about an 'irksome child' and a 'blonde monstrosity'.
"I think it rather suited you."
Severus purses his lips and takes hold of my right ear between his thumb and forefinger. "Is that so Draco?"
"No-oo-oo!" I yell as he drags my face close to his.
"Good." He smirks and lets go of my ear. "I have marking to do," he informs me and sweeps out of the room. I follow him to his study and stand behind his chair as he sits down. "Draco." His tone is a warning but I'm in no mood to leave. I snake my arms round the back of his chair to rest my hands on his stomach.
"Severuuuuus." He turns slightly to look up at me.
"Yes?"
"Write me a story." Severus sighs but smiles slightly. I can always tell when he wants to be distracted from marking, though he always pretends that he only puts up with me to please me.
"A story about what?"
I grin. "A story about us of course." I start to trail my fingers gently over his abdomen. "A story about what we did last night." Severus looks to be on the point of agreeing but then glances over at the pile of essays on his desk.
"I have to work, Draco." I frown and get up, going to stand in front of Severus' desk and placing my hands firmly on the hard wood surface.
"Fine. What's wrong with blonde hair?" I demand. Severus looks up and opens his mouth as though he's about to say something but then closes it again, sighing in defeat.
"I'll write you a story."
A/N – I suppose I cheated on number six a bit. Meh, it's my challenge and I'll cheat if I want to.
