Superbi Squalo laid in his bed. His eyes were half lidded as he stared half wake at the alarm clock to his right. 3:46 it read. He couldn't be more angry (worried) than he was right now. You had promised him you'd be back by 12. But here he was in a king sized bed, without you. Where were you? Why weren't you back yet? As sleep took over Squalo's body he could help but feel guilt wash over him. He promised you he would wait. Now the world around him became silent and muffled.

It was only a mere two seconds of rest before a cold chill startled Squalo awake. His eyes opened slowly and heavily before he lifted his tired body to a sitting position. He glanced around the room looking for the cause of the sudden chill as her stiffened a yawn. Suddenly his eyes caught the slightly opened glass door to the balcony. Furrowing his silver eyebrows he stood up and walked over to the door. His eyes widened before he threw the door open reviling your soaked, figure standing there in the rain. You (H/C) locks were soaked shielding your eyes from his gaze. Your clothes were soak as well but you didn't mind while you gripped your shoulder tighter. (B/C) blood soaked through your sleeve and hand as you tried to keep pressure on it. You hadn't had the courage to look your husband in the eye and tell him you had failed your mission. You stayed there silent in the heavy rain.

You feel yourself being locked in a strong embrace, but you regret that one moment of bliss you let yourself have. You pull away from Squalo before he can do any more damage. "S...squalo...I..." You couldn't get the worlds to come out. They hurt so much. You knew you didn't ever want to say them. But you would have to at some point. You took a breath to calm yourself before lifting your head and staring with your (E/C) into his silver ones. "I failed the mission." There. You said it. Now there's no going back. You did this to yourself. You deserve what ever punishment Xanxus or Squalo will give you...
