The room had the stench of rotten eggs. I put my hand over my nose to keep the stink out. How I stand to live here, I do not know. The stench squeezed through my fingers and into my nostrils. I coughed as the smell brushed roughly against my nose hairs.
This was where I was to meet him. The man who was threatening my friends' lives unless I do everything he said. So now, for the rest of my life, I was to be his apprentice.
But, no matter how much I hated it, I couldn't bring myself to regret moving to China Town. That is where I met all of my friends. Barney, Sue, Sid, Tobey, Nana, and even Mr. Wu.
I put the small piece of paper on the table that held the simple message:
Friends,
Sorry, but, I must leave. My destiny does not lie in China Town. It is somewhere else, waiting for me. Please, please, please, please don't take thins personally.

The black and red portal opened up about three feet in front of me and the hideous villain stepped out. His black hair was greased back in a horrible hair due. He held up one lanky finger to motion me to come. I carefully stepped into the portal and silently said my goodbyes to Wu's Garden, all my friends, and basically to being good period.
But I'm getting ahead of my self. Let's start from where it all began. Literally.
I know it's short. It's a prologue so it's supposed to be. The other ones will be much longer. I guarantee you.
