Hermione looked at her watch and shouted up the stairs "We have to leave in 10 minutes hurry up boys." Her husband and son walked down the stairs. Her husband, Draco, was carrying his sons suitcases and her son, Hugo, was carrying his owl, Niblet, and his wand. Hugo was starting his first year at Hogwarts School of Wichcraft and Wizardry along with his friend Albus Potter who was Hermione's friend Harry Potter's son. Hermione was excited about seeing alot of her old school friends at platform nine and three quarters,where everybody borded the Hogwarts express. Hugo was excited , he heard some good stories from both his Mum and Dad about their times at Hogwarts. He especially liked the stories about how they used to be sworn enimies he usually couldn't believe this but right now he could.

"Now Hugo son I am counting on you to continue the Malfoy family's name in Slytherin."

"Draco! I hope you remember that I wasn't a Slytherin and that I was a Griffindor and Hugo could take after me."

"I know Hermione love but I honestly don't want my son being a Griffindor."

"Why? Is it in case your little friends disown you because your son is in a different house than you were?"

"No Hermione you know thats not true I just think he would be better off in Slytherin. You always want what's best for our son and I do too."

"Well what's wrong with Griffindor?"

Hugo cut in before Draco could speak. "Mum, Dad please stop arguing. Just make up so we can leave." "Fine" said Draco and he kissed Hermione. "Eww Dad I said make up not make out,"Hugo complained. Hermione just laughed and then they got their stuff and left for Kings Cross Station.

At platform nine and three quarters everyone was in a rush. Mum's were checking suitcases for the hundredth time and cleaning chocolate of the younger childrens faces and Dad's were puting suitcases on the Hogwarts Express while children were looking for their friends. As eleven o'clock approached them Hermione got more and more worried. She kept asking Draco where Hugo was and everytime he was only standing beside them. When eleven o'clock came Hugo said his last goodbye to his parents and the train was off. Hermione started to cry and Draco said to her,"Hermione, love you don't need to worry he'll be fine Hogwarts is the best wizard school in the country. He will have as much fun as we did when we went there." "I suppose," was all Hermione could get out. They went to a little cafe for lunch and then went home.

That night as Hermione was brushing her teeth, Niblet swooped through the open window. Hermione called Draco and they read the letter he had.

Dear Mum and Dad,

I have just got sorted and you are probably wondering why you didn't get an owl from the teachers saying what house I got put into. Well I asked them not to so I could tell you myself. I was put into well actually I'll save it to last. Anyway I have made a few new friends already. I met a girl called Amy Diggory on the train but she isn't in my house. I met twins Jay and Jamie when I went to my house table and they seem nice. (I can't spell their second name). I have to go now and do some exploring with Jay and Jamie.

Draco seemed to be pleased and to his surprise when he turned around so did Hermione. She explained that she was happy because Slytherin was the best thing for her son as the sorting hat put people in the houses that would be best for them.
