Once upon a time in a place far, far from wherever it is you are, or are planning to visit lived a handsome prince named Jack Sparrow. His jealous stepfather, King Barbosa attempted to hide the prince's gorgeousness by dressing him in rag clothes. Once the covetous king even tried abandoning the prince on an island where he escaped in a way this story won't go into.
King Barbosa often times spent long occasions locked in his bedroom talking to his mirror. This is obviously a characteristic of a mad man; however, since this mirror wasn't any normal mirror Barbosa was as normal as you and I. Instead, this mirror was a magical one that knew all of everything in the land. King Barbosa took this to his advantage and asked the mirror often of times who was the fairest of the land. If the mirror had said any other name then the king's, Barbosa would have that person killed.
King Barbosa stormed into his bedroom and cleared his throat. The doors swung open behind him followed by a large blast as they slammed shut, "My magical mirror," snarled King Barbosa, "Now that I had that farmer killed, and that desperate housewife am I the fairest of the land?"
A face magically appeared in the mirror followed by a large an obnoxious crack that ran down its face, "No, not yet," the mirror said in a whiney voice, "And can you not see, my fair king, that you keep cracking me? Stop doing that. Seriously, this has to be the frikin' eighteenth time. When you talk to me can you please look the other way? You are quite gruesome."
The king grew ill-tempered, "What do you mean you disgraceful mirror," king Barbosa growled, "Is their still someone in this town who is fairer then I?"
The mirror responded, "Ugh. It's always about you, isn't it," responded the cranky mirror, "Why can't you just come in and ask me about how I feel? It is rather stressful being a magical mirror, I have you know."
The king's disgusted glare frightened the mirror and encouraged it to answer the question given, "And yes, my king," said the mirror nervously, "Shall it be known from this day on, everyone in this town is rather fairer then you are. Just take a look around. Right outside your very bedroom window is a man, Jack Sparrow, who is being handled by many outrageous fangirls while you are here talking to a mirror. Now, my king, is their even a comparison?"
The king's face turned orange-red in rage, "I'll kill that Jack Sparrow," said the king in fury.
"You can do that. But there will still be those fairer then you are," responded the mirror reasonably.
"Shut up! If I kill everyone in this bloody story there won't be any story left, you twit," King Barbosa growled storming out of the room.
The mirror sighed, "Now I guess I'm alone again. If I had arms I'd teach the king a lesson," said the mirror.
