Secret Affairs

It was a humid, quiet, July night in Ontario. Everyone one in her family was asleep except one special person. Lizzie quietly crept in the hallway until she came to her destination.

She quietly knocked for times on the door, her special knock so that he would know she was there. He whispered, "Come in."

She snuck inside and closed the door. "Finally, I thought you would never come." He said. "I'm sorry Marti wouldn't fall asleep." "I missed you, Lizzie."

"But you just saw me 2 hours ago." "Well, even I can't stand not seeing you."

"Aww, you're so sweet." Lizzie sat down on the bed and kissed him passionately. They kept kissing and Lizzie felt like she had died and gone to heaven. "I love you, Lizzie." He said into my ear. "I love you too."

She was getting tired, but she didn't want to leave him. He was just too good to be true and she didn't want him to go away. "Lizzie, you're tired, you should go back to your room and get some sleep." He whispered. "No, I wanna stay with you."

"Fine, but only cause you put up a fight." He joked.

Lizzie giggled quietly.

It was starting to get hot in his room. Lizzie fanned herself with her hand.

"Are you hot, Lizzie?" he asked.

"Just a little but I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive." Lizzie was getting annoyed.

"Oh I'm sorry Lizzie but I just wanna be sure you're ok. I'm protective of you."

"You're so sweet."

"But you're sweeter."

"No you're the sweetest."

"No you are."

"You are."

"You're way sweeter than me."

"You're sweet too."

"But you care about so many people."

"Those people don't matter as much as you and you care about me."

"Well I guess that's true. Let's just call it a tie."

"Ok, what time is it?"

"Like 4:45."

"Oh, I gotta go before Casey wakes up for her 5 am workout."

"Yeah I guess you should go. I'll miss you."

"But you'll see me in a few hours."

"I'll still miss you."

"Ok, I'll see you soon."

"I love you Lizzie."

"I love you too Derek."

Once she got back to her room, Lizzie sighed. Derek was just so perfect.

I really love him, Lizzie thought.
