Post episode Oneshot. Because we have been lacking zax the last few weeks and I love them so I wrote this xx

It was the early hours of the morning before Zoe finally managed to board the house boat. It seemed a little too quite. Dylan was obviously already in bed.
As Zoe walked further in she notice max lay on the sofa watching what looked to be some making, fixing program that she had no interest in. Max had heard Zoe get home and quickly turned off the TV and stood up.
"Did you manage to climb the mountain."
"Not quite, it sort of fell down instead."
"Oh well at least it's all sorted. Did you speak to your CEO."
"About that."
"You didn't go did you."
"Rude. And yes I did go but the office was locked up and empty. And Guy was nowhere in sight. The sign on the door had been replaced it said 'Henrik Hanssen'."
Zoe sat down on the sofa next to max and lent back onto him. He lay stroking her hair.
"Who's he."
"The new CEO apparently."
"Do you know him."
"Not personally but I've heard a lot about him. Connie is going to have so much fun when she gets back."
"Yeah about Connie, she's out. Her and Charlie got a call and drove off somewhere."
"I'm so glad Connie is out this whole things was so wrong. But she's going to be in for a shock when she finds out about Hanssen."
"How come."
"Surely you've heard the story."
Max looked at Zoe blankly.
"Well when Connie worked on Darwin her and Hanssen didn't really see eye to eye. And then one day she called him a depressing giant swede before resigning."
"Well this is definitely going to be fun."
"Now I'm tired. Have you eaten?"
"Yeah I got fed up of waiting."
"That's good then, I'm not hungry so time for bed."
Zoe took max by the hand and lead him to her room. After undressing they slipped into bed. Wrapped up in one another's embrace as it was a surprisingly chilly night. Max kissed Zoe before closing his eyes. Zoe snuggled into max and fell asleep, this whole acting clinical lead thing reminded her just how much she was thankful for her decision of stepping down. The sooner Connie returned to work the better for everyone. Max by this time had fallen asleep too. Everything and everyone was peaceful.
