Dawn was at the park looking very and happy and content. She was on a swing. She was wearing a pink t-shirt with capris. She had on white shoes and her hair was in a high ponytail.
Dawn was thinking about her childhood. She remember her first day and the day she met Kenny. Dawn blushed thinking about Kenny. That was also the day she grew a crush on Kenny. Dawn smiled dreamily and swung a little higher.
Kenny was to the side of her. He was completely out of her sight. He deciding on whether to see why she was so happy or walk away. He sighed and walked up behind. She still didn't know he was there. Kenny smiled as he got an idea. Right when she was swinging back, he grabbed the chain holding the swing. He placed his feet on the sides of the swing and held on tightly. Dawn looked up in surprise and blushed. Kenny smiled down at her, blushing as well.
"Hey Dee Dee!" He said cheerfully. Dawn looked at him annoyed.
"Stop calling me that!" She said and smacked his arm playfully. Then looked cheerful as well. "What are you doing here?" She said still swinging. Kenny shrugged.
"I was walking around and saw you." He said still hanging on to the swing, and swinging with Dawn. " I thought about bothering you." He stuck his tongue out playfully at her. Dawn stuck her tongue out as well. "What are you thinking about?" He asked remembering the happy look on her face.
"The day we met." She said giggling at the memory. Kenny chuckled too.
"Why?" He asked again. Dawn shrugged.
"Came to the playground and….just remembered it, I guess." She looked at the sky. It wasn't too cloudy and the sun was shining brightly.
"Hey can I ask you a question?" He asked.
"First off, you just did." She giggled. "And secondly, you are asking a lot of questions today."
"Can you please answer them." He said with puppy dog eyes. Dawn sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Okay go ahead." Dawn said waving her hand carelessly. Kenny looked at her and bit his lip nervously.
"W-Who do you like?" He asked. Dawn stopped the swing and looked at him. She blushed but looked into his eyes. There were a lot of emotions. His eyes held the emotions fear, hope, longing, and love. Dawn smiled and hopped off the swing with Kenny following. Dawn looked at him and leaned closer. Kenny blushed and stood still. He was looking at her completely longingly now. Dawn leaned in and kissed him. Kenny was completely red and tense at first. A few seconds later he relaxed and kissed back. He reached out and held her hand. Dawn pulled back.
"You." She said simply. Kenny smiled at her. He kissed her again, and pulled away. He then hugged her tightly and swung her around.
"I love you." He said happily. Dawn blushed at his actions. But replied anyway.
"I love you too." She laughed. Kenny put her down, laughing joyously.
"Come on Dee Dee lets go get some lunch." Dawn rolled her eyes and smiled. She held onto his hand tightly and ran. Kenny almost tripped causing Dawn to laugh.
"Your buying!" She said still dragging him. And to think it all started out just swinging.
