I came skipping into the B.S.A.A building with my headphones on, music on full volume. I saw someone coming my way as they waved at me, trying to get my attention. I was one of the youngest agents. Only seventeen years old but I am very good for my age. Everyone says so.
"Agent Muller, I was speaking to you!" Agent Hills said as he took one of my earphones out.
"What do you want?" I spat at him, giving an annoyed look.
"Caption wants to speak with you. Now." he said as I let out a scoff before rolling my blue eyes.
"Sure thing." I mocked before heading to the office of my adoptive father.
I was taken away from my twin brother when I was just a kid due to our mother dying. I hated my adoptive parents and I don't know who or where my real father is.
"You didn't have to send one of your minions after me." I told them as I carelessly sat down in one of the chairs.
"Isabelle, we need to talk." he said as I scoffed again.
"It's Belle, James." I told him as I crossed my arms.
I never called him dad. He wasn't my father and he never would be. I put my red hair up in a messy ponytail as he sighed.
"Redfield informed me of your actions on your last mission." he said as I chuckled.
"I had a good time." I said innocently as he folded his hands.
"You broke one the new recruit's noses!" he shouted as I growled, sitting forward.
"He's the one who started it! Saying how women didn't belong on the field! Well, I proved him wrong!" I snapped as I stared at him with a hard look.
I've always had a bad temper. James even said that my looks worry him sometimes.
As if I cared what he thinks.
"Isabelle, this is the last straw. You've gotten into to many fights and that anger of yours is getting out of control. Do you want to be fired?" he asked as I stood up, putting my hands on his desk.
"It's my dream." I taunted as he sighed.
"Then it has come true. Isabelle Muller, you are officially fired from the B.S.A.A." he said as I smiled.
"Freedom!" I yelled as I ran out of the office, hollering up a storm.
"I am out of here!" I said before flipping everyone off before running out onto the street and heading back to the house.
Kathy, my adoptive mother, was also an agent so nobody was home. My plan was working. I rushed up the stairs to my room before grabbing my already packed duffel bag. I was gonna find my brother and get out of this hellhole. I stole some money from the safe in the living room before leaving my cell phone on the counter.
"Bye bye, a-holes. Hello, adventure." I said to myself before opening the back door and running off into the woods.
I didn't have to play by anyone's rules but my own and I could find my brother.
I could finally be me.
