Chapter 1
It seems we're facing a problem
Sebastian stood outside the door of Ciel's bedroom patiently waiting for them to be finished with their conversation. He began to question himself being there as their conversation didn't sound like it would end soon. Ciel's voice echoed through the door to the hallway;
"Now, we must keep this a secret from the world."
"What if I told them this happened before you died?"
"That was a year or two ago! No ones stupid enough to believe that -believe this!"
Sebastian opened the door a crack, "Young demon, what is going on. I have made your tea."
Ciel's face turned bright red, as he didn't want Sebastian to know or even enter. He closed his eyes, trying his best to calm himself. "Lizzy, I think it's best if you explain."
"Me? This is your problem too and I thought you said to keep this a secret."
"Well we can't keep it from Sebastian. He's bound to find out eventually."
Lizzy swallowed hard, arched her eyebrows in guilt and punishment. "Sebastian, please don't hate me for this. I know you and Ciel are incredibly close, but... um..."
Ciel and Sebastian waited for her to finished and noticed she just stopped in what they thought was embarrassment. Ciel spoke up, "Lizzy's... pregnant."
Sebastian's eyes widened. "Ciel! I know you like me not to act all fatherly, but I told you not to sleep with her! I should have known you'd do this."
Lizzy spoke through crackled words, "It's not all his fault! I-I-I kind of... ordered him to. I was scared and thought I'd go back into that phase where I wouldn't sleep nor talk." She bowed her head down in shame, "I'm sorry."
"Well," Sebastian took a breath, "seems like we're going to have to treat you a little different now that you're prenatal. Er-" He looked at Ciel, "She is prenatal, right?"
"Yes, she just told me about this yesterday."
"Great. A demon child. What are we going to do with a demon child?"
Lizzy stared into Sebastian's dull eyes. "Take care of it? I mean, we can't just throw it away."
Ciel looked at Lizzy, "Hell, no! I doubt anyone would be able to take care of such a thing."
"I wish you luck, young demon." Sebastian started towards the door, pushing the rest of the tray into the room, before the left. "After all, a demon child mixed with a human being? That's tough work. I won't be of much help, as I'm not certified in child-care."
Ciel yelled towards the door, in frustration as Sebastian shut it behind him, "Sebastian!"
He sighed, wondering how this is gonna play out without his help.
