I'm Free

I was chained, locked away But he freed me

He had the key to my heart

And unlocked it

So now I spread my broken wings and fly

Nothing matters anymore

I'll be healed I'll be loved

Freedom calls my name once again

He picked up the pieces of my broken heart

And is slowly putting it back together

To form the complete treasure for all it's worth

I'll let him keep it, it's his and so am I

I no longer cry my many sorrowful tears

I whisper my thanks to the world

So now I leave behind

All the pain all the sadness

And I'll let in

The love the joy

The mask of lies I hid behind

Is now shattered and gone

No more playing pretend

No more faking

I can love the one I want

Give hugs and kisses as I please

All because he freed me

A/N the poem isn't done yet I think I'll be adding more it was about me originally yet again but I connected it to Lucy from Elfen Lied. But like I said I may add more or change it the poem doesn't seem quite right yet.
