This one wasn't Beta'd (out of respect for my Beta reader, she's been very busy with college), so let me know if I wrote "being fat isn't bad" too much.

I wrote this because I picked on Tabitha about his weight a little bit in the first oneshot.

Tabitha sat at a table in the corner, eating potato chips, occasionally feeding one to his young Poochyena that sat on the table. He looked up as Courtney approached him. "Hi…"

Courtney sat across from him, "Did some of the grunts tease you about your weight again?"

"Yes." Poochyena stared down at the table, ears flopped, expression matching Tabitha's.

"It's only because they know you won't let them get kicked out of the team. If they don't like anything about your appearance that's their problem. As long as you're healthy it doesn't matter if you're over or underweight."

Tabitha looked down at the chip bag, "They're just so mean about it.…" Poochyena hid its face with its paws.

"Then stop cooking for everyone." Poochyena stared at her, horrified.

He looked up, "But they're going to hate that…." Poochyena nodded in agreement.

"Exactly. You know how to make vegetables taste really good without drowning them in butter, cheese and gravy. Not too many people can make Brussel sprouts taste like candy with only spices. You know how to make healthy food fun." Poochyena looked up at Tabitha, nodding enthusiastically.

"Yes, but I'm still fat." Poochyena's ears flopped.

"You eat when you're stressed. That's very common. And your metabolism is just slow," she said, "You are the most active person here," she pet Poochyena, "When we had the fitness test last week you were the first one to finish and everyone else that did were practically out of breath. You kept going back to help everyone that couldn't continue and it wasn't until the last one you had to rest. You're very healthy." Poochyena looked up at Tabitha, its tail wagging softly. "You can lose the weight when you want to."

"Courtney…."

"Some people can't lose or gain the weight they want. The other girls tease me for being too skinny, but it's probably because they're jealous I can wear the cute clothes they want. It doesn't bother me anymore. Life is too short to constantly worry about what other people will think of you." Poochyena looked up at Tabitha, nodding and smiling.

Tabitha nodded in agreement and smiled softly, "Thank you."

"And the grunts are forgetting one thing when they tease you," she looked up, "There's more of you to love."
