Megaman: ZX Advent...
and Philosophy?
Have you ever played MMZXA? Have you payed great attention to the dialogue and themes, thinking that something funny was up?
Perhaps you've seen it before. You probably have. Remember Mega Man Zero?
The guardians: Harpuia, Fafnir, Phantom and Leviathan. mirror images of the Chosen Ones: Aeolus, Atlas, Siarnaq and Thetis. This concept of
recurring villainy has been around for centuries. In short, Good always wins, but Evil never dies.
Not only that, but Albert himself is a recurring villain. The scientist, the lord of society, turned insane criminal, with nothing in mind but descruction.
Albert wants to be God. He wants ultimate power. At first he wanted knowledge, but soon realized that the only way to get what he wanted was
power. The power corrupted him, as well as his knowledge. This corrupted knowledge led to his belief that the world needed to be remade. This
hubris led to his downfall.
Also, the Bible has a thing or two to say. Yes, the Holy Christian Bible. A false prophet will emerge, give promises of life to the world, and gather
followers. He gives them power, like his own, and in turn, it corrupts them as well. They begin destroying the world, saying they're purging evil.
Then, it starts diverging, but still making sense. A hero arises, defeating the prophets followers, and overturning the false prophet, taking control
of his own future, refusing to let anyone control him.
In a way, the hero is no better than the false prophet, but he still won't back down, won't let anyone take away his power.
One of the interesting themes of it all is that there is no evil. There is no good. Only power, and why it's used. Is it used for yourself, or for others?
Think of your own power. How is it used?
Are you Albert, or Grey?
