Hey there, my fellow writers and readers. :) Well, here's a new Full House oneshot that I cooked up one day. I myself have been always fascinated by vampires, and I also like Full House. So I combined the two — and this is what I came up with as a result.
Hope you like reading it as much as I did writing it, of course. :)
Disclaimer: Genius Jeff Franklin owns Full House. I own the fanfics that I cook up from time to time.
Saved By Vampires
It was nighttime in San Francisco, California. 8-year-old Stephanie Tanner was walking home, with her blonde curls bouncing like yellow springs. She was wearing a multi-colored dress and yellow tights covered her legs. On her feet were white socks covered by black Mary Janes. Often she would look up, and her cobalt eyes often scanned the sky for any signs of rain.
Then, before she knew it, a guy stepped into her path; he appeared to be in his twenties with black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. Steph slowed to a stop in order to keep from running into him by accident.
"W-What do you want?" she asked. Her voice was filled with fear. She had heard about strangers and child molesters. But this guy — whoever he was, she didn't know — sure took the cake.
"You," he growled, smirking. "I want you."
Before Stephanie had time to open her mouth to ask what he meant by that (or, to be more precise, attempt to shriek her lungs out), he reached over and grabbed her by the arm before pulling her into an alley. Then he pushed her down onto her back. Fearful, Steph bit down on her lower lip, but not too hard.
"A pretty thing like you shouldn't be wandering the streets late at night," the child rapist purred. The tone of his voice was now silky and smooth, as well as very persuasive.
Stephanie's cobalt eyes widened as he began tugging at her multi-colored dress. She did her best to fight back, but her struggle was in vain.
"Let go of me!" she pleaded.
"Such a cute girl," he smirked. "Don't worry, though. I'll make sure to do my hardest when it comes to protecting you — especially from things that go bump in the night... such as, say, any Vampires I might come across some time."
Stephanie's head was spinning. She was trapped... in the hands of a child rapist.
Then a deep voice called out, "Leave her alone."
"Contrary to what you might think, vampires are not the things to look out for in this city," another voice said.
The child rapist looked behind him at the mouth of the alley. There they stood — the owners of the voices.
One had long black hair and dark brown eyes, and wore a white top with a red car on it covered by a blue denim jacket; leather gloves covered his hands, a pair of black jeans went on and on over his legs, and a light blue and black bandanna circled around his head and under his hair. The other had red hair, green eyes and wore a navy green jacket with matching pants, a white shirt with stuff on it, and an earring shaped like a lightning bolt.
"I suggest you shrimps clear off before I do you too," the rapist sneered before he turned back to his catch and reached for her; his manhood was aching to be satisfied. Two hands on his shoulders made him stop and he turned around to swat the owners off. But when he did, their angry eyes glared into his now shocked ones.
Pure-Bred Vampires! he thought. Before he knew it, he was lifted up into the air by the raven-haired boy.
"Please, let me go! Just spare me my life," he said, his voice a little shaky. He had wanted to satisfy his hunger, and thought he could get some from the beautiful Stephanie Tanner, who he heard was a dancer, as well as "sooo cute" (according to another girl, who he later learned was her older sister Donna Jo "D.J." Tanner).
"You plead for that?" snapped the raven-haired teen in reply. "You go around raping children just because you can't score with a woman yourself."
"Ha — don't make us laugh," said the spiky, red-haired teen.
Then, they bared their sharp white canine teeth and injected them into the child molester's throat. He tried to scream, but it was no use. Soon he was dead.
After putting the body in a dumpster, the teens wiped the blood off their lips with their tongue, then turned to Stephanie, who was laying there all quiet and still, and her eyes were open. They walked over and bent to her level.
"Hi," said the black-haired teen.
"Hi," she replied. "Thanks for saving me."
"No problem," said the other teen. "Who are you?"
"My name's Stephanie Judith Tanner, but you can call me Stephanie or Steph," she replied.
"I'm Corey Feldman, but you can call me Felddog," said the teen with raven hair, smiling.
"And I'm his best friend, Corey Haim, but you can call me Haimster," said the spiky red-haired teen.
Stephanie smiled. "Nice to meet you."
Then Felddog gathered her gently into his arms and they flew off.
"Wow, this is really cool!" Stephanie grinned; but then a question popped into her head, and she asked, "Hey, what are you guys anyway?"
"We're vampires," replied Haimster. "You saw what we did to that guy that was about to molest you."
"But don't worry," said Felddog, seeing her wide-eyed, shocked look. "We only feed on rapists, muggers... you know, usually those kinds of people who would try to commit crimes such as taking advantage of a pretty girl like you."
As he said this, he stroked her hair gently, and she suddenly felt a whole lot better.
Soon they reached her house. When Felddog let her out of his arms, she gave them both a hug, and they returned it. Then, she stepped over the threshold of her house. Her father, Danny Tanner, ran in and swept his daughter into a hug.
"Daddy, I know you're glad to have me back safely," said Stephanie. "But don't overdo it, please."
"I know, sweetheart," replied Danny as he then set his daughter down on the floor. Then he noticed the Coreys and gave them a smile of thanks. "Thank you so much for bringing her home safely."
"There's no need to thank us, sir," said Felddog. "It was our pleasure."
Haimster nodded, smiling at Stephanie. "Such a... lovely child," he said before taking her hand in his and placing a kiss on the back ardently and yet respectfully.
"Thank you," Stephanie replied before she turned to Danny, as well as D.J., the girls' uncle Jesse Katsopolis (who was also Danny's brother-in-law) and Danny's best friend Joey Gladstone, who had also come in and met the Coreys. "Guys, the Coreys have something they would like to say."
Feldman then said, "We're vampires."
To prove this, he and Haim showed their fangs.
"Wow," said Joey. "So can you be impaled with a stake, and can garlic kill you?"
"No. Not at all," said Felddog. "Those are just made-up superstitions."
"And guess what else — we also have reflections, and we're the good guys. And," said Haimster, turning to Danny, "we saved Stephanie from a child molester."
After they told them what had happened (with a little help from Stephanie), a shocked Danny then said, "Oh, no. Someone tried to molest Stephanie? Oh, I'd better call the police and file a—"
Felddog held up a hand, cutting him off. "It's OK, sir. Neither you or Stephanie have to worry about him anymore. He's dead."
Then Stephanie and D.J. both yawned, feeling quite tired.
"We're gonna go to bed," said Stephanie. "Good night, guys."
"Hold it," said Felddog after the others left. Stephanie stopped and turned to them.
"Yes?" she queried.
"Why don't we stay with you? There are a lot of guys who want to sink their teeth into you," said Haimster. He looked serious as he said this. Stephanie thought this over for a few moments. Then she brightened.
"OK!" she replied.
After Steph brushed her teeth and changed into her nightgown, the Coreys then tucked her into bed, even though she insisted she was perfectly capable of doing it herself.
"Guys, thanks for saving me from a fate said to be worse than death itself. I owe you my life," she said.
Both Coreys smiled. Then Haimster said, "Hey, you've ever heard of a love bite?"
She assured him that she had, so he said, leaning in along with Felddog, "Just one little bite, Stephanie. That way you'll know we belong to you, and vice versa."
Steph sighed and closed her eyes as the Coreys then bit down on either side of her throat — but not too hard — and drank some of her blood.
Then they licked her neck so that the marks didn't show.
"There," said Felddog as he laid her head on the pillow and turned out the lights with a click of his fingers.
Then both of them blew her a swift kiss and flew quietly into the corner — where only she could find them if she needed them.
Well, I hope you like this story as much as I did writing it. After all, writing a story such as this one takes lots of research, and I hope to write more stories about vampires as heroes. Basically, the ethical vampires would help out the good guys, and they would do so by draining the bad guys of their blood. The reason why I prefer to make vampires like that is because the whole thing about "vampires as villains" has been way too often overused or overdone, and is very cliché — at least from my perspective. Of course, the concept of vampires as heroes is something to be explored, and should be shown more often.
Anyway, nice feedback is very much appreciated, of course.. :)
