Based around the song light my candle from the musical Rent. Spencer Reid x OC

It was a cold winter night in the DC area and a blizzard had caused the heat and lights to go out in the apartment building. Now what did that have to do with Cleo standing outside her neighbor's door?

Well Cleo was freezing and couldn't for the life of her find a lighter. While she could have asked any of her neighbors she just happened to have a crush on Spencer.

Knock, knock.

Spencer opens his door to see his neighbor standing in front of him.

"Um why are you here?" the young doctor asks.

"Got a light." But before she can say anything else Spencer notices she's shivering.

"I know you.. You're, you're shivering."

"It's nothing, my heat is off and I feel a little weak on my feet." "Will you light my candle?"

Not having a lighter Spencer takes out some matches. He stops and stares at the women in front of him.

"What are you staring at." Cleo asks.

"Nothing your hair in the moonlight. You look familiar." Cleo begins to wobble as she turns to leave. "Can you make it?"

"Just haven't eaten much to day, I wish the room stop spinning anyways." Cleo stops noticing the young doctor staring at her again.

"What?"

"Nothing your smile reminders me of." "I always remind people of. Who is she?"

Grimacing Spencer responds, "She died her name was Meave."

"ah its out again, sorry about your friend. Will you light my candle?"

After Reid lit the candle again she left.

"It blow out again?" Spencer asks as he lets Cleo back into his apartment.

"No, I think that I dropped my stash."

"I know I've seen you out and about, when I can go out. Your candles out."

At this point Cleo frantically searches Spencer's house for her stash ofDilaudid.

"Where is it I had it when I walked in the door, is it on the floor?"

Getting on the floor Cleo searches around for the stash. "They say that I have the best body in the building. Is it true, you're starring again."

Blushing hard Spencer tries to avoid looking at her behind, his face and neck a pinkish color. "You look familiar." He finally stutters out.

"Like your dead girlfriend."

"I'm sure that I've seen you some were else."

"Do you go to the Cat Scratch Club, its where I work, I dance."

Realization hits Spencer, Penelope use to drag him out. "They use to tie you up." He says blushing again.

"It's a living."

"Why don't you forget that stuff?" Spencer asks? Referring to her stash of Dilaudid.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"I use to shiver like that." "I have no heat I told you."

"I use to sweat." "I got a cold."

"uh." Spencer stops remembering his time as an addict.

"I use to be a junkie. " "Now and then I like to, to feel good."

"We could light the candle. Won't you light my candle?" Cleo asks not entirely talking about the candle in her hand.

"That was my last match." Spencer's breathe hitches as she invades his personal space.

"our eyes will adjust thank God for the moonlight!"

"Maybe it's not the moon at all I hear spike lee's shooting down the hall."

"Cold hands." Cleo states picking up Spencer's and putting them in her own.

"Yours too." "Big, like my father's."

"Do you wanna dance?" she gets up and drags Spencer with her.

"With you?" "No, with my father." She replies.

Holding him close she reaches into his pockets and grabs her stash. Waving it in front of him, she dashes out the door. Leaving the Genius alone to wonder about the strange events that just happened.
