"Anyways back on track here.I have decided that the two of you" pointed look here "shall spend a period of four weeks in confinement. With only each other for company." Before he could continue two outraged boy leapt up protesting. "You brought this on yourselves.
Now neither of you are to have any contact with your friends or family for the duration of the confinement. House elves will still come in and clean up. But you are to have NO unnecessary contact with them. I shall be your only visitor. There will be no classes for either of you, but research projects will be given to the pair of you to complete. You shall also have another task. You will help your new roommate with subjects they have trouble with, such as potions or charms. You will both have access to the library, the *whole* library 24 hours a day.
Also, you will have access to a large courtyard off of your rooms. You may schedule the Quidditch pitch but you will not be playing with your teams. Any requests shall go through me. If you fail to meet the guidelines, another week will be added to your sentence.
Feel free to write letters, or whatever you please but they may not be sent. Please go to your dorms and pack your trunks. Bring everything you may need for you are to have no contact and if you forget something it may be a while before you get it.
And as a last point I find it in me to mention, that all magick performed inside your quarters cannot be traced. Neither can your presence, by anyone or anything." Another pointed look. "Now off to your dorms. Today you begin your confinement!"

"Follow me gentlemen." Professor Dumbledore walked swiftly down the hall away from the boys, one of which was glaring at the other who was sneaking glances at the glaring boy.
