So, I watched yesterday's episode and I honestly think Bandi has a chance! I really don't think it's Jonah due to the fact that way too many people have a crush on him and it would be way too predictable for this show. Also, can we talk about the fact that Marty never even had a chance? Poor guy XD Please enjoy!
OoOoOo
Buffy stared at the yearbook picture of Jonah Beck, her eyes trained on the boy. "No," she finally answered, looking away. "It's not him."
Cyrus groaned in slight annoyance, yearning to know who her first ever crush was. "Then why can't we tell Andi?" he demanded as he began to pace. "What other reason would she have to be upset if it wasn't Jonah? Who else-?" He stopped short in the middle of the room before turning to look right at her. He gazed into her nervous eyes, such an out of character expression on her. The entire room went silent.
"Buffy," he spoke after several excruciatingly long minutes. His voice was much softer than it had been.
She glanced away from him. "Yeah?" she responded.
Cyrus approached her, a look of understanding on his face. He knelt down so that he was at eye-level with her. "Do you like Andi?" he asked quietly.
Buffy returned her gaze back to him and gulped before nodding her head. "Yeah..." She sat up and grunted in frustration. "But it doesn't matter."
He jumped back a bit, but stood with her, trying to keep their eyes locked. "Why wouldn't that matter?" he questioned, furrowing his eyebrow in confusion.
She sighed. "Because she wouldn't like me back," she confessed, visibly deflating. "How could she? She already has two guys fighting for her, why would she like me? I'm just her best friend." She angrily kicked her own backpack. "She said we were like sisters once."
Cyrus flinched. "Ouch," he sympathized. It wasn't like he didn't know what she was going through. Jonah had referred to him as his "bro" on more than one occasion. He knew what it was like to be friendzoned like that.
Buffy shrugged. "It's just the way it is."
He knew that giving his friend false hope was wrong, but he couldn't stand to see her so crestfallen. "Maybe not," he replied before he could stop himself.
She turned her head to look at him. "What do you mean?"
Shoot. Now he had to somehow play that off. He prayed to god that she would buy it. "She was absolutely heartbroken when you left," he told her. That wasn't by any means a lie, so he continued, "You got all those voicemails, right?"
Buffy seemed to be mulling it over. "That is true..." However, she scoffed. "But she's my best friend. She probably just missed her 'sister.'"
"Maybe," accepted Cyrus. "but who's to say that she doesn't feel the same way? Sure, she likes Jonah and she feels something for Walker, but she'll always hold you above both of them. She values your friendship more than she values a relationship with either of them. That could progress over time."
That brought a smile to her face. "Maybe you're right..."
He shrugged. "You never know," he agreed.]
Buffy wrapped her arms around him. "Thanks, Cyrus."
Cyrus immediately hugged her back. "For what?"
"Being there," she answered, her words muffled by his shoulder.
He grinned. "Always."
OoOoOo
