Eddie
At first, dating KT seemed like a good idea. But now, not so much.
"Hey Eddie!" KT said. Lately she was a little too clingy. Ok, a lot.
"Hey babe." I said, casually sitting down next to her.
"Um, Eddie I needed some help later. Can you help? It's okay if you guys have plans though!" Patricia said quietly, motioning to me and KT.
"Uh sure!" I said quickly.
"Actually-" KT said at the same time.
"Okay see ya." Patricia said, sitting down next to Joy.
"Eddie...we had plans." KT reminded me.
"Sorry babe. Well do them early." I smiled at her. She just held my hand.
"I was wondering maybe you want to stay with my family in America. For the holidays?" KT asked.
"Maybe. Can you make me a sandwich?" I asked.
"Sure thing baby." She said, pecking me on the cheek, and bouncing away to the kitchen. Oh yeah, we're definatly over. Ill tell her tonight.
{later that night}
"Something on your mind Eddie?" KT asked, concerned.
"Uh..KT I don't really think this is working." I said, as nice as possible.
"I know. I meant to get blueberry. I'm sorry." She sighed.
"No I mean us. KT there's no easy way to say this. I love you, but as a sister, not a girlfriend. We're not compatible that way. You're so sweet though. Like really. But sorry."
"Ok Eddie see you." She walked away, teary. Ok, now I have a date with Patricia. A date with Patricia. Score! Wait why am I so happy? Patricia's my ex. I no longer like her right? Wrong. I'm crazy about her.
Patricia
This is so hard. I really do need Eddies help, but I don't know how I won't explode with jealousy about his perfect relationship with KT. They never fight. They're always so happy. Gosh.
"Hi." Eddie says, walking in glumly.
"Hey. Eddie are you okay? You look sad." I asked.
"Me and KT broke up. I'm fine though. I broke up with her." Eddie says. My heart just does a somersault. Yes.
"Oh."
"So what's up Yacker?"
"I needed help in mythology. Your the Osirion so I assumed you could help with Egypt?"
"Sure thing." He reaches for the pencil the same time as me and our hands touch. It stays that way. I think I'm the only one that realizes because when I look up, Eddies staring into my eyes.
"Earth to Eddie!" I say, pulling my hand back and waving it around.
"Oh uh sorry," he says, blushing, "You have pretty eyes Yacker."
"Thanks weasel."
"Why'd you break up with me?" He suddenly blurts out.
"I'm not getting out of this am I?" I sigh, he just shakes his head. "Because I liked you. A lot. I was scared to say it. And I couldn't keep it inside. So, I just decided to cut it off. Figured I'd get over it," I leaned back, "but i was so wrong. I realized like I l-l-loved you." I exhale, blushing, furiously and looking down.
"I loved you too."
"That's nice, so why'd you end it with KT?" I asked.
"Because I still love you."
