The clock ticked around to 3:59 AM. "Hey.. Erza, wake up.." the blue haired mage nudged his redhaired beauty who had a pillow covering her face, groaning. She definitely didn't want to get up at 4 in the morning. The clock chimed a small tune, signaling that Erza should get up. "What do you want, Jellal?" Erza mumbled, a little angry as she gained a headache from the clock beside her. Jellal definitely set it up. "I wanna eat cereal.. With you, Erza." Jellal smirked, knowing her cheeks would turn bright red by then. "Cereal?! Why, Jellal?! It's four in the morning!" Erza complained, bringing the pillow away from her face, obviously blushing. "I knew you'd say that. I wanna eat cereal with you. Will you fulfill my wish?" Jellal mumbled, pouting. "Sure I guess.. But why cereal?" Erza questioned, very confused.
4:30 rolled around and the two of them sat at a table, eating a box of cereal with a jug of milk on the table.
"Hey.. Erza.. You know.." the ex criminal mumbled, almost coughing from eating too much cereal. "Hm? What is it?" Erza looked up at him and she plopped a strawberry into her mouth, earlier she had cut up strawberries and put them into her cereal. Jellal started to laugh super loudly but the requip mage thought it was strange and cute at the same time. "What?" Erza mumbled, an obvious death glare shooting it's way over to Jellal. "Ah.. Nothing.. Except.. Ahaha!" Jellal started laughing again, chugging the milk from his bowl to stop his cackling as he nearly choked. "I did this to spend time with you. I didn't really want to eat cereal. I wanted to see your beautiful, amazing, grumpy-looking face. Cause you don't usually get up at this time and we usually don't spend time with each other like we used to because of all the missions you go on. No offense." the blue haired mage ran his hands through his hair. "WHAT?!" Erza yelled, blushing like mad.
"I did this to spend time with you." Jellal simply put it, smiling happily. 'Damn it.. I can't think straight when he smiles like that..!' Erza thought, blushing, her cheeks burned red like her fiery scarlet hair. "You could of just said so, Jellal." Erza was straightforward with him, her blush dying down surely but slowly. "Oops?" Jellal smirked, getting up out of his chair to walk over to her. Erza stared blankly at him. "You could of told me." Erza repeated, standing up, and walking towards him. She wrapped her arms around him tightly. "Don't you dare wake me up tomorrow night." the fairy queen growled and then let out a little yawn. "Deal?" she mumbled, rubbing her eye lightly. "Deal." Jellal smiled, and kissed her forehead.
"Hey! Would you two kindly be quiet?! Lucy's trying to sleep here!" The couple heard Natsu's voice angrily yell, and then Lucy complained to him saying that it was fine. "Okay, Natsu!" Jellal walked up to the door and called out to the dragon slayer, laughing slightly. By the time he turned around, he saw Erza passed out on his side of their shared bed, snoozing away in her heart kreuz pajamas. Jellal kissed her forehead one last time and walked over to their kitchen and ended up cleaning the mess of milk and cereal, sighing calmly. When he was finished, he crawled into bed next to the love of his life and fell asleep next to her.
I definitely had to add humor from NaLu. It was the perfect timing! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this little oneshot of JeRza!~
