Everyone always wants to be amazing,
Always doing the saving.
Be the person on the news
With a good story that nobody can refuse.
They can do this for many reasons,
With stories lasting for many seasons.
Sometimes even longer,
Due to their influence which is stronger.
Either way there is always a cause,
A motivation, desire, person or loss.
A person could act rotten
Only out of the fear of being forgotten.
Attention seekers are not bad,
Just people who are afraid, lonely and sad.
All they want is a true friend
Leading them to please others and to others' wills bend.
They are changed and defined by society's words
Until they lose their true selves and get lost in the blur.
And so what happens next is both sad and true,
The world ends up losing a uniquely defined person, one that could have meant the world to you.
