Prologue:
When Clary was at a party with her friends, she was dared to text a random user and ask to be friends. No one, especially Clary, thought that that dare would have given her the sister she always dreamed of having. That night she started a friendship with a girl who today is her secret best friend. She hasn't told a soul that she is besties with Isabelle Lightwood, Head Cheerleader to their rivalling school, even her posse from school didn't know. There was Magnus, who was technically is Clary's cousin who was kicked out of his house for coming out as bisexual. Her family adopted him with open arms and they have grown closer every day. There's also Simon, her best friend since birth. And Tessa, Will, Emma and Jules who have joined them along the way, who she loves. The same goes for Isabelle. She hasn't told her older brother Alec and Jace, Jace being adoptive but she still loves them to bits, and vice versa. She hasn't told her in-school posse either. There is Alec, Jace, Maia, Jordan, Helen and Aline who have moved here over the years. Maia and Jordan are dating and Aline and Helen are adoptive sister. But they aren't the only ones with secrets either. Magnus and Alec have secretly been dating for the past 3 years. Alec has only come out gay to Jace and Izzy, fear of being kicked like Magnus. They both agreed not to tell each other their last names and what school they attend to keep things simple, but it didn't prevent them for falling hard for each other. Izzy, Jace and Clary know that theirs brothers are dating another guy but have been given no names and respect Alec and Magnus' decisions. Aline and Helen, adoptive sisters, are also secretly dating. They are both still inside the closet as Helen fears she will be judges for her sexuality and Aline fears she will make the other cheerleaders uncomfortable with her being on the squad. Plus, also their parents, who probably wouldn't approve of them dating let alone sleeping under the same roof. Jace, pretty boy player of Brother Zachariah High, has a few scars he keeps hidden from everyone except Alec and Izzy. He had a tough up bringing with an abusive father and suicidal mother.
Tomorrow school starts back up again for Brother Zachariah and Cairstairs High. Let's see what secrets come out in the open this term.
