Chazz Princeton sat on his bed in the slifer dorm. He'd just won the Genex tournament and his second year at duel academy was over. He had spent a good portion of this year brainwashed, and working for the nefarious Sartorious and his society of light. Sartorious prayed on Chazz's feelings for his rival jaden in order to manipulate him, but in the end Jaden (with some help from the Ojama trio) snapped him out of it.
Chazz fell back and lied down on his bed, he was thinking of Jaden and how much Jaden had done for him over the years. Chazz thought of his fellow slifer red almost all the time, he could never get him out of his head.
"Damm Slifer slacker" Chazz mumbled
"What's up Chazz" said a voice from the door
Chazz sat up to see Jaden Yuki standing in his doorway, wearing his red jacket and big goofy smile.
"Oh hey, what do you want?" Asked Chazz
"Everybody's having dinner in the canteen, there's loads of fried shrimp so I figured you'd wanna join us" Jaden informed Chazz
"Yeah ok I'll be down in a minute slacker"
"Ok but hurry up before there's no food left" Jaden said as he started to walk out, licking his lips!
"Jaden wait" Chazz said before the brown haired boy could walk out of earshot, Jaden strolled back into Chazz's room and sat down on a chair
"Ok but be quick because I'm hungry", drool was forming at the corner of Jaden's mouth.
"I just wanna say thanks slacker"
"For what man?"
"For snapping me out of the society of light's brainwashing, if it weren't for you I'd still be wearing that cheap white uniform" Chazz blurted, a blush appearing on his face
"Don't worry about it" Jaden said, rubbing his fluffy hair "it was mostly the Ojama's work anyway"
"Ok but before that you broke me out of Amnael's emerald tablet, so thanks for that aswell" Chazz said as he stood up
"Dude don't worry it's what anybody would have done" Jaden said modestly as he stood up to match Chazz
"And before that you helped me stand up to my brothers so I need to thank you for that too"
"Ok buddy, but that one was mostly you"
"And when I was lost at sea I'm pretty sure I only survived using my anger at you for fuel so thanks for that aswell"
"Chazz it's fine, stop thanki-"
"But it's not fine, you've done so much for me Jaden and you've saved the world twice and I've acted like an idiot for two years". Chazz's blush had spread across his cheeks, while Jaden stood there speechless, his mouth ajaw.
"Jaden I really like you, your my best friend and you've done everything for me and I just can't stop thinking about you..."
"Chazz do you like me as more than a friend?" Jaden asked, they both went silent for more than a moment.
"Yeah but i know you don't like me back and that's fine so-"
"We can be more than friends if you really want" Jaden interrupted, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and worry, Chazz stood there looking into Jaden's hazel eyes before replying
"Yeah sure" he said casually, as if he hadn't dreamt of this moment more than a few times
"Awesome, now let's go get some-" Chazz's blush now coloured his face as red as his dorm, the blood rush to his head made him woozy and he would have fallen over if Jaden hadn't caught him.
Time felt like it stood still as Jaden held Chazz in his arms, Chazz would have been happy to stay like this forever.
"Carefull buddy, or should I call you babe now that we're dating". Chazz couldn't help it, he pulled his boyfriend's head in for a kiss.
Jaden was suprised but after a few seconds he began kissing back, the two were entwined together like Chazz always wanted them to be.
Eventually they broke off the kiss and chazz stood up on his own
"Lets go get you some fried shrimp then" Said jaden, breaking the silence.
"sure thing lets go" Said Chazz, a smile on his face.
The two walked out of the room towards the canteen, holding hands together all the way.
