Anneyeounghaseyo minna-sans! I am continuing this story from my Fanfiction. REMEMBER! The Greek mythology is really messed up and will NOT be accurate! I twisted it so it could fit into my story. Please enjoy!

Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and the moon and Poseidon the Greek god of the sea and earthquakes met in secret every night because they were not allowed to meet each other for they both were the Twelve Olympians.

Her father, Zeus, forbid any of the Twelve Olympians to fall in love with each other. He didn't think it was right for them to be together. Especially, with his little girls who he loves dearly. He didn't want anyone to hurt them. I guess you could say the rule was more for his daughters then anyone else.

After every meeting at Mt. Olympus they would sneak out and meet each other at the bottom of the mountain so nobody would be able to see them. They would talk, make out, whisper sweet nothings in each others ears, and sometimes even did the nasty.

After that, they would part ways to never see each other till the next meeting of the gods and goddess. This always made them very depressed. He went to the seas and she to her forests.

One day, after the gods and goddess' meetings, Artemis and Poseidon met and their usual spot at the bottom of the mountain. Artemis had something very important to say, "Poseidon, I must tell you something very important." Poseidon turned to look at her with confusion in his eyes.

"Yes, Darling?" said Poseidon putting his arms around her tiny waist. "I must tell you that...I am pregnant." Poseidon was shocked for a bit. Finally, coming to his senses after hearing the news, he jumped for joy!

"I'm so happy!" Poseidon picked up Artemis, swung her in the air in circle hugging her, then set her down. "But wait….what will your father say about this?" When hearing that Artemis soon became sad because she knew what her father would do to her.

"Poseidon, we must not tell him….we all know what he will do if he finds out this information." Artemis said then started crying. Poseidon pulled her to his chest and comforted her the best way he could. "I don't want our baby to die!" She cried into his chest.

They stayed there for a while longer till Artemis stopped crying. She was more heartbroken when they had to part ways once more. She went to her forest and he to his seas.

As they started leaving, Hermes the messenger of the Gods heard everything and was in awe. He just couldn't believe it. "I still can't believe Artemis would do this to her father, her own father but I must tell Zeus." He said to himself.

With that he left and went to tell Zeus about the news of Artemis and Poseidon.

When Hermes finally got back to the top of the mountain, he walked into the room where the meetings are held to find Zeus still there. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK IN HERE!? GO DELIVER MY MESSAGE!" Boomed Zeus' voice as he shook a fist in the air. "I'm sorry, sir but I just found out some really bad news!" said a scared shitless Hermes. Zeus glared and sighed. "What is it?" He asked. "Well, I just found out that your daughter, Artemis, is -gulp- pregnant with Poseidon's child." He said nervous. He jumped behind a throne as Zeus stood up and shouted to the heavens.

Zeus was furious and started throwing things all over, including Hermes. Leto tried everything she could to calm him down and it worked.

She wasn't so upset about her daughter, Artemis, being with a child. She always wanted grandchildren. That was a different story for Zeus. Yeah, he wanted grandkids but not till thousands of more years. He wasn't upset about the baby, he was upset for what he had to do to his daughter, Poseidon, and the unborn child. Zeus started hating himself for making that rules when all his little girls were born.

Leto knew what he had to do , she couldn't let that happen. Her being the Goddess of motherhood and all.

After all the throwing was finish, Zeus had an idea. He was going to wait for the child to be born then do what he needed to do with all three of them. His idea was to wait for the baby to be born, kill Poseidon and Artemis, then the child. He was heart-broken that he had to do this but it was the rules of the Gods.

So he waited and waited till the child was born. It took him 9 long months of waiting and pacing back and fro. He waited too long and was getting upset. He wanted to get this over with so he didn't have to face the guilt anymore.

After the gods meeting Artemis and Poseidon went down to their regular spot. They knew about her father's plan because her mother told them plus she was huge in the stomach area. They were both very scared for their child. But, till the baby was born, they had to keep up the act of not knowing Zeus' plan.

So when the day came of her having they child. Poseidon was very worried and anxious. Artemis's mother was there to help with the birth. That was the only person they trusted and could feel save around.

After hours and hours of screaming and getting the baby to fall alseep, Poseidon and Artemis hurried off to get away from her father, Zeus. They ran and flew till they knew there baby girl was safe.

!TIME SKIP!

After, 2 whole years of running from Zeus, Poseidon couldn't take it anymore. He told Artemis his plan of what he was going to do to get Artemis and their baby girl back into Zeus' goodwill.

"Poseidon, no you can't do that, he'll kill you right then and there. Without a second thought!" cried Artemis with her head in her hands. Poseidon hugged her and said, "If it means keeping you and Kagome save then I'll do whatever it takes." They said their farewells with kisses, hugs, and crying. Then, he was off to confront Zeus at Mt. Olympus.

Poseidon made it to Mt. Olympus, scared but he didn't show it. Zeus saw Poseidon walk in and was in awe to see him there. "Zeus, I have come to confront you. I want a happy life for my child like any other person in this world does. Running around everywhere isn't really a good route if I want that for little Kagome's life. So, I have come here to ask for you to spare Artemis and Kagome's life and in exchange kill me." Said Poseidon bowing his head. "You know I can do that. Rules are rules, my boy." Zeus replied sighing.

"Zeus please! If not for me or your own daughter. Do it for Kagome, your grand-daughter. She needs you in her life." Poseidon begged on his knees but whispering the last part. Zeus sighed once and again and pulled out his bag of thunder bolts and grabbed one. He raised the thunder bolt over his head and a single tear rolled down his cheek.

As he was in mid-air from throwing, something stopped him. It was Leto, his wife. "Zeus, no! You know you don't want to do this so why force yourself?" argued Leto. "If you're going to kill Poseidon, our daughter, and our beautiful baby grandaughter, then kill me too!" shouted Leto. She would do anything if it meant her daughter's life was safe.

Zeus put down his thunder bolt defeated. He didn't want to hurt Leto nor his daughter. Heck, he didn't even want t hurt Poseidon. It's just that rules are rules and need to be inforced or everyone will think they all get a freebie. It took him a while to respond, he then said, "Fine, you may all live. Come back to Mt. Olympus with your family and live here with me and Leto. I am truly sorry." Zeus said, smiling and giving Poseidon a huge hug.

Leto was crying tears of joy for what Zeus had done. Knowing that Zeus could never kill family or anyone for that matter. He may come off as so but he won't. Leto hugged her husband and he hugged her back. Poseidon was shocked but mostly happy for what outcome had become.

He thanked Zeus and Leto, and hurried on his way excited to tell Artemis the fantastic news but when he got back to the hut, they build in Japan, he was surprised to see no one there but Kagome crying bloody murder and a note.

The note said:

Hello Poseidon, I have your precious Artemis! I left the baby because she wis too young and annoying. But she WILL be my lover when she turns 19. On Kagome's 19th birthday she WILL marry me or I will kill Artemis.

Love your dear step-uncle,

Poseidon went wide eyed and re-read the paper a few times. He walked toward Kagome and calmed her down. He rubbed her cheek and shedded a few tears for Artemis but wiped them with his sleeve. He picked up Kagome who was happy and giggling by now and cradled her in his arms while he gathered everything Kagome would need. Like diapers, bottles, bips, baby powder, etc.

He left the house and he rode to Mt. Olympus on a horse he conjured up. He didn't forget to bring the note with and told Zeus everything that happened, once he arrived home. He got really furious and threw things once again. He was clearly upset that his brother would take his own niece and kill her for no wanted just to marry his great-niece, which is sick and twisted!

Poseidon got frustrated too and told Zeus, he was going to go get Artemis back. Leto protested and said it was dangerous but Poseidon wasn't hearing it. He gathered everything he would need and waited for Zeus' approval. Zeus thought about it and finally agreed. Zeus' told him to be save and brave for he might not come back. Leto held on to baby Kagome and cried for the lifes of her son and daughter. (Kagome is sleep.)

With that he kissed and hugged the sleeping Goddess. "Please take care of her. I don't know what I would do if I lost Kagome, too." he said as a tear ran down his cheek and he left. Probably to never return from the underworld.
