I know, I know. I'm always rushing fics and writing about other things on the characters' birthdays. They're supposed to be celebrating their birthdays but I always end up writing about different stuff.

It was red. The sky soaked with blood.

War was a ball of destruction, crashing in a whirlwind, leaving fallen corpses and ashes on the ground wherever it may go.

Michael Yew was just one of the victims.

As he went flailing down the bridge, he had no more energy to grab hold on anything.

This was it, he supposed.

He could still hear the eruptions of the water, bursting up into the sky.

He wondered why everything seemed to be in slow-motion.

The cracks expanding on the remains of the bridge, it collapsing down with the rest of the army of monsters; they were all falling, falling so slowly. Michael wasn't sure if it's due to his own delusions or Kronos meddling with time again.

He thought about Lee, the head counselor before himself. He died a year ago, in the battle of the labyrinth. He thought, maybe this was what Lee felt too, right before his death. How everything was still raging in chaos, but nothing seemed to matter in all the peace he's feeling.

Who would take his place? Probably Will. Will had been along for a long time now. He was nice enough, and had the brains for strategy. No one from the Apollo cabin would even think about making him forfeit. (He'd probably also have Kayla and Austin, his hugest fans, as his most faithful followers.)

And he wondered yet again, did Lee die thinking about the future without him too, or did his death come too quickly for anything?

His vision became unfocused.

Sorry, Lee. He caught himself picturing his brother's ruffled hair and bright eyes with that grin lighting up his whole face.

He knew he would be rejoining him down there soon. And he didn't feel the slightest panic, for he knew his cabin would be in good hands, who could be fully devoted to the rest of his siblings.

Michael was ready to go.

And he fell down, crashing into the water and being dragged down to the water bed by a huge chunk of the bridge. When he reached to the bottom, he was already gone.

R.I.P

The ending sorta sucked...

R&R plz~
