LITTLE BLUE RIDING HOOD
Inside a library, in a tiny room filled with old volumes, two beautifully decorated tomes are placed upon wooden stands, facing each other.
One of them suddenly opens, sending dust bunnies all over the place.
Once upon a time, in a tiny village near the forest, in a little house at the outskirts of this village, lived a child with her mother, known by all with the name of Little Red Riding Hood...
-WAIT!
The other tome, has opened, sending dust everywhere.
-What? I'm trying to do my job here, you know?
-And your job would be...?
-To tell stories! And today is the story of Little...
-...Red Riding Hood, we know, we know. But it's a boring tale, more if it's you telling it... (snicker)
-Well, if YOU can tell stories better than me why don't you so?
-Because...
-Are you shy?
-No! It's just that my tales are different than yours...
-How so? They are fairy tales, always the same.
-Well, MINE are not! My fairy tales are different!
-How can they be so different from mine?! Does Cinderella have kind sisters? Or does Sleeping Beauty not fall asleep in yours?
-NO! But how sure are you that the stories you tell are the original ones? What if the TRUE stories of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, or Little Red Riding Hood did not go as they are told?
-What?
-Let me explain. Let's continue with Little Red Riding Hood: why does her hood need to be red?
-Well...
-And did she really meet the Big Bad Wolf in the forest, or was it someone else? The Wolf is really so bad, and the Hunter so good?
-I don't know...
-Well then, my friend. Let me tell the TRUE story of Little Red Riding Hood.
The book ruffles his pages a bit, then they start turning, and turning, and turning, until they stop when they reach a page with an illustration: a girl with blue hair and an equally blue hood stands near a massive black wolf.
-Ha! Here it is! Little Blue Riding Hood.
-BLUE? Pfft, ridiculous. They just changed the color of her hood!
-SHHHH! We want to hear the story! Echoes all around the two tomes, from all the other books in the room.
-As I was saying... Little BLUE Riding Hood. Here I go:
Once upon a time, in a village near the forest, in a tiny house at the outskirts lived a beautiful girl with her mother, known by everyone with the name of Little BLUE Riding Hood...
