Riku's POV

I am now a shadow of my former self.

"I can't believe I let Sora get the better of me!" I yelled. "I'm supposed to be the stronger one!"

I sat by the snowy peak. The cold didn't bother me. What bothered me was my own lack of self-control.

"Calm down." I said to the wind. Was he still out there? Did he know-? "Why is he worried about me anyway? Shouldn't he be protecting Kairi, instead of out here, looking for me?" Secretly I was happy he remembered me. Kairi had probably given up on me. I could never really tell if she liked me, or if she just wanted to hang around Sora. I was guessing on the latter. Was she aware of just how much I'd done for her? I doubted it. She was half-unconscious for the majority of our little "adventure." How much did she actually remember? Rising from my seated position, I halted my thoughts. She's Sora problem now. But I wondered, Kairi, princess of heart, our princess of Destiny Islands, what would you think of me now? Now that I have accepted my darkness, though not quite come to terms with it.

"Gah!" I shook my head. "She isn't that important to me!"
