Arizona stared at Callie with teary eyes, her vision starting to blur. She was significantly aware of the other people behind her, could hear their faint voices. Though her attention was simply focused on the love of her life.
Who was hooked up to an astonishing amount of wires, along with an oxygen mask. There was another car crash after the first one, and this one had left their daughter Sofia, dead. She had died in the impact of the car crash, and Arizona had went flying out the window as Callie once had. Though the blond remained okay, as the Latina hadn't. Again.
Arizona hadn't even been driving this time, merely making small conversation and trying to plan a birthday party for the baby. A birthday party that wasn't going to happen anymore.
At the scene of the car accident, the car had been completely totaled. Upon running into another car they had gone spinning and crashed into a building. It had been on the way to work as well, so everybody could see Sofia since it was so close to her birthday
. Then moments later, without even a blink of an eye they had crashed.
They had killed two people, one of them being their precious daughter.
Memories of Callie and Arizona's relationship flooded into her mind, sent her into even more hysterics.
Their first kiss, the first time they made love, every special moment between them. Even the sad bits, what with going to Africa, then the other car crash. It had still left both of them alive, left the two lovers to be at peace with each other.
Finding someone you love in a state of what looks like death, is probably one of the hardest things anyone will have to go through. There were so many moments the lovers could have shared together, could have left each other breathless and so in love. There could be a chance that, that didn't happen had Callie not come out of this.
Snapping her away from her thoughts was the sound of the girls heart monitor going off.
She was coating. There were people at the bed now, pushing her away and getting a crash cart.
"What? No! LET ME IN!" The blonde screamed, her voice pleading as tears ran down her cheeks.
They didn't stop. "Please!"
She pleaded, struggling to get away from the arms of what seemed to be Alex Karev and Derek Shepherd. There were nurses rushing past her. She stopped struggling for a moment, after they weren't able to get Callie back.
There was the sound of the loud going on beep, indicating that the patient had passed away. It sounded so far away now, and all she could do was stare at the love of her life. Who now wasn't in this earth anymore.
"Callie." Arizona said, her mouth dry and it felt like the world was crashing down on her.
"Time of death, Ten thirty three." She heard Meredith say, and her heart shattered into a million pieces. There were no tears rushing out of her eyes now, and she stared at the nurses that were walking back out of the room.
Each of them had a very apologetic look on their face, and they seemed to pity her.
She shook her head and walked numbly up to the bed, taking her loves hand. She had just lost her daughter now hours earlier, and now the love of her life was gone too. Her wife, her world, her everything.
Was now gone. So Arizona sat in the uncomfortable hospital chair for the next few hours, holding onto Callie's hand with every last bit of strength she had left in her body.
Maybe she was there for hours, maybe she even sat there fore more then a day. Maybe more, but she didn't care anymore. Everything was gone. Everything had just gone wrong in her world. And it would never be right again.
