He sat at the crowded bar, drinking his scotch, he had millions in the bank actually make that billions. He had girls practically chasing him but no-one could ever make him feel the way that one girl made him feel. The bar was packed girls everywhere smiling at him, wanting him but how much he tried he could never want a girl the way he had wanted and still wanted that one girl. He finished his scotch and was just about to go pick himself a girl to try and make the pain go away when he saw her, Blair Waldorf. The girl who made him feel alive, the girl who made the world mean something to him.
Her hair was as perfect as always, her dark brown curled locks fell perfectly past her shoulders. She was wearing a classy black dress and had the most dazzling diamond accessories. She had the earrings the bracelets and the necklace. She looked 10 million dollars, but as she walked into the bar she wasn't alone. She was followed by Nathaniel Archibald, the guy who chuck would pay all the money in the world to be because he had chuck's girl. As they both found there way to the bar Chuck could tell something wasn't right, Blair was as beautiful as ever but as he looked deeply into her dark brown eyes they looked so empty. So unloved, they didn't have the sparkle or fire that they had when Blair was with Chuck.. Ice cold, she had ice cold eyes.
They ordered a bottle of Dom and both walked over to a quiet table in the bar , luckily for chuck he could see the table perfectly from his view. If any other person saw Nate and Blair they would think they looked in love happy the perfect couple , but only chuck could see the coldness and dare he say loneliness surrounding Blair. He couldn't help but clench his fist when he saw Nate smile at another girl, Why chuck thought why would he want to waste 2 seconds of his time with Blair by smiling at some random hooker. Chuck knew he would of treated Blair 10 times better than Nate ever could dream of , they always looked so awkward together. They didn't fit as well as chuck and Blair did never have and never will.
Chuck wished so hard that things had turned out differently, that he was the one sitting with Blair. That Blair was the one wearing his engagement ring. But he knew that how hard he tried , how hard he prayed that things were different they never would be. Because Chuck never said those 3 little words to Blair. Those words that Blair practically begged Chuck to say and yes Chuck did love Blair but he just couldn't say those 3 words he was chuck bass and Chuck Bass did not say those 3 words. But now how he wished that he had said them.
He couldn't believe what he was seeing when Nate answered his phone and went outside to deal with it. Maybe it was business maybe he was cheating on Blair maybe it was family quick frankly chuck didn't care. He watched as Nate got up Kissed Blair slightly on the cheek and left to go outside whispering on his phone , how could Nate be so stupid leaving a gem like Blair in the middle of all the rubbish. Blair looked around trying to see if she knew anyone at the crowded bar , when her eyes locked with chuck.
Chuck couldn't help it, his mouth went dry , his heart started to beat 10 times faster. Blair smiled at him, the only smile that could ever make chuck bass smile back without any effort. He got up from the bar stool and was just about to go and say hi to the girl of his dreams. When Nate came back, Chuck didn't know what Nate said but it must have been something to do with leaving. Nate got up and went to pay the bill as Blair just followed him like a little child. Chuck couldn't believe his luck he was too late again. As Blair and Nate both exited the bar , Blair looked back and smiled at chuck again.
'I love you' Chuck mouthed but it was too late. She was gone. The girl he wanted had gone out of his life.
