Sakuno was waiting patiently at the gates of Seishun Gakuen for her long time crush, Ryoma.

Since there isn't tennis practice today, he's probably being mobbed by his fans, the girls of course, Sauno guessed.

After a long wait, Ryoma finally came out.

(Ryoma didn't bother to apologize since it wasn't his fault.)

Without another word, they walked side by side home.

As today was the last day of school, it would be the last time they had a chance to walk home together.

The short journey was filled with silence, as usual, since no one (ever) made a move to start a conversation.

Finally, they reached Sakuno's house.

At the doorstep

"Ano," said Sakuno, blushing, "I guess this is goodbye."

"Hn," replied Ryoma.

Can anyone be more emotionless that him? thought Sakuno.

She looked closely at Ryoma, her eyes stared into his hazel ones.

He's hiding something; I know it, thought Sakuno, oh, well, if he-

Ryoma interrupted her thoughts with a kiss on her soft, pink lips, a very deep one indeed (the kiss).

After a while, they broke up (not break up!! I meant the kiss), they turned into a deep shade of red.

Sakuno smiled, not as emotionless as I thought, eh?

"Bye," Ryoma bid her farewell. "We'll meet again," he whispered softly, as he gave her a peck on her cheek.

"Goodbye," said Sakuno, my prince, she thought.

Waving a goodbye, he walked home, smiling.

There was something neither he nor Sakuno realized though…

Behind the bushes

"Where's my money?" Fuji said sweetly, after putting down his binoculars.

"Aww man…" complained Eiji, taking his money out of his pocket.

"Told you they'd kiss," said Fuji in an I-told-you-so tone.

"Ah, young love," commented Momoshiro.

"99 that they'll make a popular couple next year," Inui's voice came from behind.

"AHHH!!!" They screamed.

"Damn you, Inui," scolded Eiji, "At least tell us you're coming sight-seeing with us."

"Yea, don't just pop up out of nowhere," agreed Momoshiro.

"Haha," chuckled Fuji.
