Karkat hesitated a bit before sending that message. Him and Dave had become good friends even though they only communicated through this chat and Skype. They met through a game and that's how they spent their time together.
Even though most people considered Karkat to be too annoying and sarcastic to bother talking to him, Dave claimed that his demeanour was cool and his commentary on video games 'sick and awesome'. Karkat liked Dave, he was addicted to 'cool' to the point that everyone was pretty sure it was a codename for a drug. He'd hate to lose such a friend. "I'M NOT UPSET"! Ha! Bullshit, of course he was upset and there was no point denying it.

Karkat smiled. Sometimes Dave rapped, sometimes he talked about 'cool' stuff and sometimes he was just strange. Karkat didn't care which one it was, it always managed to get him to feel better anyway.
AN: This is my first fanfiction ever and I'm really worried about characters being OOC, spelling and typing quirks (it's been a while since I read Homestuck). English isn't my native language so sorry if stuff is wrong. Any feedback is welcome, specially constructive criticism. I want your opinions. Should I write something else or is this complete shit?
