Disclaimer: These toys...er...Winchesters...are not owned by me. Sadly.
Author's note: Ok, so the first thing to come to mind with "fly" was...the Tardis from Doctor Who. For those of you who aren't familiar with Doctor Who, the Tardis is a time-and-space travelling being (grown on Gallifrey) that looks like a blue police box from 1060's Britain. It's awesome. And it flies. 100 words on the dot. Last time I checked, anyway.
Fly
Sam doesn't question their joint hallucination because, hell, they've seen a lot of stuff that's hard to be believe.
He just follows Dean's outstretched hand and answers his question of "What's that?" with a stuttered, "A flying...blue...box..."
Dean nods absently, adding, "A flying police box, huh?" Sam just nods tiredly.
"Thumb a ride?"
Sam looks at Dean before shrugging and sticking his thumb out too.
Later, they blame the hallucination on being bruised, battered and bleeding, exhausted and having walked miles already. But Sam still has no answer when Dean murmurs, "Wonder what would've happened if they'd picked us up?"
Is there anyone out there who wants to know what would happen if they did manage to get a lift from the Tardis? I'm tempted to do E/O drabbles that's a crossover (of sorts) of Doctor Who and Supernatural, not weekly but maybe monthly or something? Anyone interested? Happy Doctor Who-ing you guys, and CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW SEASON OF SUPERNATURAL!
