Authors Note: Inspiration from www. youtube. com/watch?v=IeQti3VTG1M - makes me laugh every time, and I finally decided to just get this out of my head.

It all started out very simply. Woody had the tape. He had space on the floor since Andy's mum had sent his rug to be cleaned. He just didn't have a partner, since Bo was gone.

He took off his hat and sighed, looking down at the floor. He heard a soft tapping as someone walked across the room towards him. He glanced up and saw Jessie coming towards him. He smiled, if anyone could dance, his own cloth and stuffing should be able to.

"Bullseye," he called to his horse, who was lying under the bed behind him, "go put this in the tape player, and when I indicate, you press play, okay?" Bullseye nodded and took the tape in his mouth, running off towards the tape player.

"Hey Jess," Woody called, "Where's your hat gone?"

"I don't know," Jessie called back, "I lost it, I'm looking for it."

Woody started to walk across to her. "Well would Miss Jessie care to dance before she goes looking any further?" He ambled closer and put out his hand.

Jessie jumped back a little and considered this for a moment before putting her hand into his.

Biggest mistake of her life.

Over her shoulder Woody motioned to Bullseye, and he pressed down on the play button on the tape player. The music started, and before Jessie had a minute to think, Woody had started spinning her around in a circle. Then he let her fly out away from him, keeping a tight hold of her hand. Jessie gasped in shock as she nearly fell over, but Woody pulled her back in towards him almost as fast as he had flung her out.

He spun her again, and Jessie tried valiantly to steady herself in the momentary pause Woody took between steps. He was so clumsy, she thought with a brief smile, watching him skipping about all over the place.

The thought only just passed through her head when he flung her around again, then assisted her in a pirouette under his arm. That bit wasn't so bad, except she was now starting to get dizzy.

He swung her into his arms, and she stared at him, relieved for the break. He smiled back at her too, but only for a instant, because as the music continued he leaned down and dipped her whole body to the floor, and then back up again. Jessie gasped again as he leaned down, swung her over his back, so she landed, wobbling, on her own two feet.

But still he didn't let up. He was now flinging her straight over his head, and somehow she managed to duck in time for him to shoot her between his legs and upright again. Just as she thought she was going to be able to steady herself again, he suddenly rolled back, and pitched the unsuspecting cowgirl doll over him...but rather than her landing, her hands slipped through his.

She went sailing over the top of Woody's head and landed with a crash. Picking herself up, she glanced around and muttered. "Yee haw."

"I'll say." She glanced around, and noticed what – or rather who she had crashed into.

Buzz sat up rubbing his arm. Jessie started to laugh, "Sorry Buzz. It wasn't me, it was him," she pointed at Woody, who was looking around in confusion.

"Don't worry Jessie. One day, I'll teach you how to dance," Buzz returned, getting to his feet and starting to walk away.

"But Buzz! You have two left feet yourself!" Jessie called after him.

Like that was ever going to happen.
