AU: Naruto and Kiba are high school students experiencing a lot of high school stuff. Warning: Yaoi, a lot of angst and weird stuff. A bit of OOC.

Prologue

He hated going to school.

His bright yellow hair, accompanied by six whisker-like birthmarks on his face and sapphire blue eyes made him stood out in the crowd.

He loathed his schoolmates, their parents and teachers for making his already miserable life troublesome. Most parents did not allow their children to go near him, teachers often ignoring him being bullied by his schoolmates, and well, like he just mentioned, his schoolmates often bullied him.

Sometimes, he thought the word 'often' is an understatement.

Nonetheless, he was not a coward, for he fought back with all of his might. Regardless, he was usually at disadvantage as his bullies often came in a group of five to seven. This often resulted in him going home in a battered state and sometimes even with several bone dislocations.

"This year will be no difference", he thought to himself bitterly.

He really was lonely and pitiful, not that he would admit to himself but every time he saw his schoolmates with their parents, he felt a dull throbbing ache in his chest. It was not his fault that he looked weird or that his parents were long gone or that he was poor.

Maybe it was his destiny, after all.

Sometimes, he thought about just giving up on his life. No one would miss him, heck, no one will even notice he disappeared. But if he gave up, he would be letting everyone win over him easily.

So he thought about possible ways to change his awful destiny. Becoming rich? Not that easy. Becoming popular? Heck no, he was not interested. Becoming successful? He did not think he would go that far. Just when he was about to give up on his so-called 'stupid' ideas, he bumped into someone who, little did he know, was going to change his, Uzumaki Naruto's destiny forever.

And that person is Inuzuka Kiba.
