It had been two and a half years since the last time they had seen each she was coming on this very afternoon and would be staying for a few days.
The last time he had saw the young girls lovingly sweet yet big toothed last time he had seen one of the smartest yet sweet girls that he had ever talked too.
Not that he knew too many of them nerver bothered to pay him much attention veiwing him as the "Date,dump,repeat"type.
Which he had always wondered were that theroy had been placed on him seeing as how he hadn't had a girlfriend ever.
He knew a nice girls few like Teresa and his cousin Rose.
His cousin was intelligent and if used loosely enough she was also very analysing and nosey at was also dating Kanaya,another nice girl.
But dave didn;t really know Kanaya well,just that she was extremly smart but akward.
Dave was also warned by Rose that if He ever told about there secret relashionship; he would lose an eye thanks to Roses knitting needles.
Teresa was the blind girl who moved away a few years was very smart and had a wonderful sense of also had many anything was,and would be licked,or sniffed.
But Jade was perfect in every way to him.
He loved everything about her from the cute collection of rubberbands on her fingers to the fact that she had a tendency to fall asleep in his arms.
They only get to see each other every 3 years or so due to the fact that they live so far sort of hurt him inside that he couldn't see her beautiful face everyday.
"They that absence makes the heart grow they forget to mention it also rips the heart to shreds and and stomps on the remains."He thinks lazily anticipating her arrival.
After an hour or so of looking for food and dodging various puppets and sharp objects his brother left laying around the doorbell rang.
"Its open."He calls lazily figuring that it was his derpy friend John had a habit of randomly droping by.
Jade walks in smiling and drops her bag to coming running at Dave and tackle hugs him.
"Dave!Its been so long!You seem cool as ever though"She says with a laugh.
"Yeah still ironically awesome."
After she settels in they talk for awhile.
Her about the intresting things shes found on her island and her dog and frogs and some mindless but deep asks a few questions about him such as "Whats your favorite type of frog?MInes the poison dart frog."
Which he responds with saying that he preferred reptiles.
And He talked of music,his brother/and didn't bother to ask about her because she talked alot when she was happy,and in such moods told him everything.
Hours later they watched a movie,which she fell asleep through cuddling up against Daves chest,smiling and muttering in her sleep silly things.
After the movie ended her carefully got up and went to get her a leaned down and kissed her forehead after removing her glasses.
"I love You,goodnight Jade."He whispers as she lets out a sort of happy sounding snore.
