A.N. I know, usually I stick with Jackie/Hyde, but I love all the relationships on this show. Like the friend and family ones! So this is a Donna/Jackie, when Donna realizes that Jackie is her best friend. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I tried, but they kicked me out and said I don't own That 70s show

Play Ball!

"Donna, what, you have to let her stay with you. C'mon, she's your best friend." Eric tried to reason.

"She's not my best friend." Donna snorted. How could Jackie be her best friend? They aren't anything alike! I mean, Jackie? Hellllllo? They were on opposite sides of the universe!

"Well, then who's your best friend?" Well, duh Eric! It's you! Oh, wait. Boy's can't be a girl's best friend. Cuz, well, best friends talk about everything. Every thing. Ev. Ry. Thing.

Wait, Donna tells Jackie everything. Nope! No she doesn't!

Ok, fine. That's strike one! Only strike one.

Let's see...best friends comfort each other. Ha! Jackie doesn't comfort Donna! Not at all! Wait...yes she does. Dammit. She may not do it right, she may suck at it and doesn't say anything that is suppose to comfort her, but she does try. And, believe it or not, Donna does feel better after those little times with Jackie.

Crap! Strike two!

But best friends have stuff in common! Her and Jackie have absolutely nothing in common! Like, at all. A princess does not choose a lumberjack as a friend.

But yet, they were. And as much as Donna would like to not like Jackie, she just couldn't. We'll count that as a ball.

So there! Jackie isn't her best friend!

Wait...best friends do everything together. Eat. Shop. Talk. Laugh. Cry. Joke around. Hate each other on some days.

Best friends are always there. Donna couldn't even think of a time when Jackie wasn't there for her, nor could she think of a time when she wasn't there for Jackie.

Dammit! That is strike, friggin three!

"Oh crap, when the hell'd that happen?"
