The date was May 1, 1842 in London.
The day we got married.

She said her love would never die. Lies. Her love faded pretty quickly.
I still remember when I walked in on them.
-Flashback-
"Shadow, don't worry. I no longer hold feelings for that blue one."
I looked at her. She smiled showing her pearly whites. God, she was pretty. Her roseate hair and emerald eyes drove me mad.
"I guess your right... Sorry for being jealous..." I said, surrendering.
She slightly laughed and gently grabbed my hand, causing a blush from my cheeks. "Remember, I'll always be yours and I will love you forever."
Bullshit.
Back then I could help but smile, which wasn't so rare back then. "As will I, Amy."
After that I thought nothing else on the subject.
I knew how my wife, Amy, would get lonely due to my work, my father's printing company needed as much help as it could get, but she would never complain about it. She always tried to remain on the positive side.
Then one day I got off work early.
I thought it would be a wonderful surprise for Amy to see me home earlier. Unfortunately I was the one that received the surprise...
I caught them.
In bed.
That damn blue hedgehog, Sonic, was on top of her. They both moaned at the pleasure they were giving to one another. They didn't even see me.
I remembered Sonic from before. Amy did have a liking towards him. After she was denied by him she ran to me. After our marriage Sonic moved back into London, his mother was ill so he went and cared for her for some time in Wales. Well it looks like after his trip he finally found the beauty in my wife.
Before they could find out about my presence I got out of that room. Out of that house. I found my way to a nearby park. I sat on one of the benches, breathing heavily, still processing of what I just witnessed.
I say there for along time watching the petals of the close cheery blossoms fall, letting a deep sadness fill me.
Reviewing what I saw, I started to feel... Something else.
How DARE he come back.
How DARE she lie too me like that.
How DARE they both just act as if I'm just a puppet.
There was only one thing on my mind that day...
Revenge.
