Years had passed. Mistakes were made. Famine swept the land. Lives were lost, including his dearest friend and favorite King, for whom the Shaman would mourn forever. A darkness had covered their home, a darkness that reached further than most could even consider. It sank pass the flesh and fur, pass the hungry bellies and hurting bodies, to the very souls of those he loved.
But the King was coming back, and with him, a light came. Hope came. Where now there was hunger, there would be plenty to fill the stomachs, hearts, and souls. Rafiki howled; they were saved!
