Amarië's Farewell
A/N: Thanks to Ithiliel Silverquill, I've become addicted to drabbles. For those who don't know, drabbles are hundred-word compositions.
Amarië's Farewell
My Finrod, why must you go? Why must you leave me and everything else behind?
But I am asking empty air, for you are already gone, far from my reach evermore. I know the reason for which you tread into this shadow. Your "great" king Fëanor. I am bound to another liege, and though your father resisted, you wished to remain with your sister and your cousin Turgon. Indeed, blood is thicker than water.
I do not hold anything against you. My heart still belongs to you, and always will, an unforgotten memory in my soul.
Goodbye, my love.
Goodbye.
