I know I said I wouldn't be writing anything VA, but Last Sacrifice appeared in my country! And I was in the mood xD. I obviously don't own this.

Adrian sat on the edge of the fence, looking at his feet. He'd done it again. He had annoyed Rose.
No, he had angered Rose.
And now she wasn't talking to him.
The night was light, and the sky was full of stars. He didn't want to back inside and face the furious dragon. That would be Rose.
He took a sip from the bottle he was holding. Tonight was supposed to be a great night. There was this ball at the academy, and he went with Rose. And things were great.
Until he teased her about Dimtri. He was just joking, seriously, but she took it bad. So bad that she poured her drink on him. He sighed and took another sip.
"Whisky?" he heard a voice behind him. He turned his head, just to see Abe Mazur sit near him.
"Yeah." He mumbled a response.
Great, just great. Now he's going to give me the father talk Adrian thought angrily.
"You love her, don't you?" Abe asked out of nowhere.
The young moroi chocked with the drink.
"Who?"
"My lovely daughter, of course."
I wouldn't call her quite lovely right now…Adrian thought. But I do love her. Heck, I've loved her for a long time. But I don't want to tell her that so she can spit me in the face and say she loves the Russian tank.
"Uhm, define love"
"Don't play smart with me. Just tell me. I promise I won't say a thing to anyone."
"Okay."
He drank again, straight from the bottle, and handed it to Abe, who took it and drank.
"You know kid, I've heard quite some stories about you. And you kind of remind me of myself. And that makes me want to kill you and send you as far away from my daughter as possible. How do you feel about Alaska?"
Adrian didn't know if to laugh or not. Of course, he was Rose's boyfriend, so he would probably get the talk, but he wasn't in the mood right now.
"But." Continued Abe, "I hope you won't repeat my mistakes. And you do remind me of myself, but you are not me. So I trust you with my daughter. So as long as you keep it in your pants, unless you have condoms, I'm cool. Because I know you love her."
"I never said I loved her" the young moroi tried to defend himself, making Abe laugh.
"Right. Like I believe you. Anyway, like I said, I trust you with my daughter. And that sais something, boy! Don't let me down. Now, move your ass back inside and apologize, even though you didn't do anything wrong."
This man is a genius. I just officially got permission to date Rose. Now the only thing left is to make her forgive me.
"Roger that! Thanks for the help, captain."
"No problem, kid. Just take good care of her."
"Yes, sir!"
Adrian went inside, without noticing that he left the bottle outside. Abe grinned at Adrian's back and took the whisky.
He looked around. Rose was sitting at a table, clearly bored off her ass. Lissa was somewhere with Christian, doing God knows what.
"I'm sorry" Adrian said with no introduction. Rose blinked.
"For what?"
"For being a jerk."
"Oh. No problem, you weren't that much of a jerk, really. At least, no more than usual. But don't worry about it, I was a bitch too! And I ruined your costume" she mumbled looking at his chest.
He looked at the dirty spot and shook his head.
"That's okay. I didn't like it, anyway."
"Liar" she said getting up. "Care for a dance?"
"Anytime" he responded, and they went on the dance floor, between other morois and dhampirs.
Rose is gorgeous Adrian thought as he looked at her beautiful features. Not just tonight, I mean that dress is awesome and it shows her curves very well, but she's stunning all the time. Even in the morning, when she's grumpy and sleepy. Still, I really, really like this dress.
"Ah, young love" sighed Abe, looking at his daughter and her boyfriend.
