Walking down the street on a warm summer's night, thoughts of death running through her head. He wasn't related to her. In fact, he was a jerk. So why should she be sad? Well, maybe it was because she used to like him. No, that wasn't why. Maybe it was because she never got to say goodbye. Yea, that was it. It was just her mom's ex-boyfriend, but she had treated him like a father. And he treated her like a daughter. He never had any kids. The only kids he had were his dogs and now they're being adopted.
