AN - Hi so I got the idea for this while listening to the Mickey Mouse song in Full Metal Jacket. I own NOTHING! not the song, bleach, the movie, the character or anything else...
It was the same every year, each squad in the Gotei 13 had to do a practice drill in front of the soiutouchio to show that they were still up to par as far as shinigami went. It was all very boring and Kyoraku Taicho was only really there under Nanao's threat of dumping all of the sake he had stored up for the year.
Unbeknownst to any of the other Taicho's or Fukutaicho's Kyoraku had a special surprise in store, nothing that would really mess up any of the proceedings, just a little something to make things more interesting.
Each squad went through the drill and then proceeded off into militarian lines in order to be shown off to the Sotaicho and any special guests that may have come. When the 8th finished the drill under the hawk like eyes of their Fukutaicho they then turned in order to go into their assigned militarian lines when each member all of a sudden started to sing.

Nanao couldn't keep the shock from her face, 'What are they doing?' she thought. Having no indication that they had planned such a thing.

She couldn't figure out how this had come about when it finally hit her, she threw a glare her Taicho's way and he just smiled down at the 8th while they continued to form their lines, while never flattering in their song.

People were looking at the Sotaicho to see what he was going to do about this anomaly, if anything. But whatever people were expecting they weren't getting it as the Sotaicho just stood stoically.

By the end of it no one had said a thing and the area fell into a disturbing silence while trying to determine if the Sotaicho was furious or not, and importantly if the Fukutaicho was going to kill them when this was all over. Finally the Sotaicho's voice rang out "9th division!"
With that little anxiety out of the way everyone looked over to the Fukutaicho, looking stone faced as ever. The division had been assured by their Taicho that he would take on their Fukutaicho's wrath - It was the only way they'd do it.- Everyone knew something bad was bound to happen after the drill was finished.
Kyoraku wasn't too worried however, he had been watching her the duration of the song and saw a small smile grace her lips before she quickly suppressed it. If one hadn't been watching for such a thing they would have missed it, but Kyoraku had been watching, and knew that she wasn't too mad.
In her defence she just couldn't help it. The spectacle may have been unusual, but it was just so 8th division.
