Summary: one shot 21 duo and hero get together fic. Duo POV.
Loving you
I'm not really sure how it happened, how he and I got together.
The first time I saw Heero I couldn't believe how absolutely beautiful he was,
I didn't really want to shoot him, but I thought that girl Relena was in danger, if I had of known how annoying she was I would've let Heero kill her.
After the war Quatre invited all of us pilots to live with him in one of his many mansions. I accepted straight away having nowhere else to go, Trowa agreed to although we all knew he would, he and Quatre had been seeing each other for a while before the end of the war.
Wufei agreed after some bribing from myself, and Quatre had to turn his puppy dog eyes on full force. Heero was the hardest to win over, he thought that because the war was over and there was no use for a perfect soldier anymore that he himself wasn't needed. Of course both Quatre and I tried top convince him otherwise eventually what did it was when I punched him in the face, he looked so shocked that I had hurt him so he agreed to stay, I'm still not sure if it was out of fear of me or not.
That was the actual moment that I fell in love with him, he just looked so vulnerable and I realised that he really was just like the rest of us just as confused and scared and it was then that I decided that I would get to know him better know matter what.
So I began to talk to him and always be around him. I know it annoyed him but I think secretly he enjoyed me being around. The real breakthrough was the day he actually spoke first.
Flashback
"Ne Duo what does love feel like?"
Duo was absolutely shocked, Heero rarely spoke let alone anything about love.
"well Heero I suppose it's different for everyone"
"But how do you know when you are in love?"
"You just know, why are you in love with someone Heero?"
Heero blushed "I think so"
"Well how does this person make you feel Heero?"
Heero hesitated "When I'm around them I feel happy and safe and I feel as if I can do anything, is that love?"
"Yeah Heero it is, so are you gonna tell me who the lucky person is?"
Heero blushed even more and looked down at his feet and mumbled "you Duo"
Duo sat up straighter and looked at Heero "ME?"
"I'm sorry" Heero whispered and tried to run out of the room.
"Wait, Heero!" Duo caught Heero's arm slowly turning him around,
"Do you mean it?"
Heero looked at Duo tearfully "yes I-I 'm s-sorry Du-"
"no don't be Heero I have something to tell you"
"what?"
Duo leaned down to Heero's ear and whispered "I love you to Heero" and then leaned down and kissed Heero passionately.
" Aisheteru Duo" Heero whispered as duo slowly pulled away.
"I love you to Heero I love you too" Duo answered hugging Heero to him.
End Flashback
So that's how Heero and I got together, Heero continues to open up to me more and more each day. It's so amazing to be with him. Watching him find out the world and learn to be a normal person not just a perfect soldier.
Heero and I have actually moved out of Quatre's estate and bought ourselves a house we all see each other still as we all we all work at the preventers but Heero and I now have a place to just to be with each other, and hopefully soon to be married at, I haven't asked Heero yet. But hey wish me luck!!!!!!!
