The fireworks boomed in the sky, and the whole school stared in amazement.
It was truly beautiful, but not as beautiful as the person stood next to me. He is the most beautiful person I have ever met. The one I love. The one I will always love.
I cuddled into his side. He kissed my cheek.
"Happy New Year." He whispered in my ear.
"Happy New Year to you too." I smiled.
I rested my head in the crook of his neck while we were hugging each other.
"You know what? I love you Aya Fubuyuki!" he breathed.
"I love you too." I smiled.
We kissed and we both knew that we didn't want to let each other go away, but we had to. We both had to go and wish our families a Happy New Year.
"See you later." I murdered as I left his side.
I wish all my New Years were like this, apart from the leaving part.
