The Murders:
Chenoa Jackson & her sister Awinita were inseparable during their childhood. When there younger brother, Akule was born, they goggled over him. But Chenoa was three years over then Awinita & four years older then Akule. Her mother was 75 Lakota & her father we white. But to other white children, they had the best names ever. They had the perfect life. But it was ugly on there side when there father started drinking. Chenoa ran away twice before they decided to move to Boston, Massachusetts. Once they were settled in Boston, Chenoa immediately started school & made quick friends. But Awinita & Akule had a harder time making friends. They were teased constantly.
At the age of 16, Chenoa was smarter then most of her classmates. But her friends and peers knew why she studied so hard. If she didn't get into college, she would have to stay at home & take care of her siblings. But nobody was ready for what came one morning in January 2004. That January morning, two and a half weeks after Christmas Vacation ended, the Jackson family was asleep in their rooms when someone broke into the house, killing all but one. Chenoa was grabbed by the killers and dragged out of the house after witnessing her family murdered in front of her face.
With only a couple breaths left before she finally died, Awinita let out a blood curling scream, which alerted the neighbors of what was going on. Chenoa was dragged from her home, kicking and screaming. But she was smart enough to leave clues behind for the Detectives to follow. Inside her home, she pulled out a fist full of hair & dropped it on the ground. She scratched her family's killers & planted the skin on her dead sister. She punched her kidnapper in the nose as hard as she could & his nose started bleeding. Before he could do anything, there were a couple drops of blood on the floor. He was able to grab her & make sure she couldn't do anymore harm. They gagged & bound Chenoa, then left the house.
