Pain
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Summery: AU during Blame it on the Alcohol
Kurt sighed as he curled up into a ball on his bed. Blaine hasn't spoken to him since the argument a month ago when Rachel asked Blaine out. Sure Kurt had apologized the next day when he saw Blaine, but Blaine merely gave a curt nod then proceeded to ignore Kurt since. To make it worse the Warblers have also given him the silent treatment. They only spoke to Kurt when needed. Kurt was relieved that his family was speaking to him at least despite being disappointed with him for what he said about bisexuals and not supporting Blaine.
They cooled down some when Kurt said he apologized but there was still some coolness in their voices. Kurt reached over and turned his iPod on. He didn't know what to do. He had apologized to Blaine at Warbler practiced and included the Warblers in his apology but nothing changed. He even offered his services (such as doing homework or other errands) to them. But nothing. It was like he was a ghost floating around. Kurt ate alone, studied alone and practiced alone when there were no rehearsals.
Kurt sat up and brought his journal towards him. With no one to speak to Kurt took to writing his feeling down on paper. It helped some but Kurt still had trouble sleeping and eating more than two bites before being sick. Staring at his journal, Kurt found himself feeling empty. There were no words. Just blankness.
Standing up suddenly, Kurt grabbed a jacket and strode out of his dorm to take a walk outside. He still had two hours before curfew and no one will miss him. Kurt looked up at the stars once outside. He always found them beautiful. Blaine did too. Imeadiantly, Kurt shook the thought away. No thinking about Blaine anymore.
For the next twenty minutes Kurt watched the stars as he walked. He walked until he found Pavarotti's resting place. Falling to his knees, he let the tears fall. His heart broke again as it did every time he saw Blaine or the Warblers and was reminded of what he lost. Their friendship, his family's approval, his father was no longer proud of him. Kurt hates himself.
No wonder Blaine like Jeremiah. No wonder Blaine would rather date Rachel, a girl, than Kurt. He was nothing. He didn't deserve Blaine or anyone else. Laying down, Kurt closed his eyes and fell asleep with an ache in his heart.
