"I have to tell him," Tails thought to himself, staring blankly at the doorway to Sonic's house.
Sonic and Tails have been friends for a while now, close friends.
But lately, Tails has started to feel differently towards the hedgehog. He dreamed of holding his soft hands, pulling him close, putting his lips against his...
...among other things.
To put it frankly, Tails had fallen for the hedgehog.
And now here he was, standing at his doorstep, ready to confess his newfound love for him.
He desperately wanted to ring the doorbell, but couldn't bring himself to do it.
"What would he think, would he hate me, would he laugh, would this ruin our friendship, and what would everyone else think...
...what would my parents think."
Tails turned away and started to walk sheepishly towards his home.
Until he heard a door open up behind him.
"Tails, what are you doing, did you want something?," Sonic asked the fox, who had his back turned.
"It's nothing Sonic, just forget I was here." Tails began to walk away again.
Sonic ran up to him and grabbed him by the arm.
"I'm not stupid Tails, something is obviously wrong, what is it?"
Tails wanted to run, but, Sonic's warm hand on his arm stopped him from doing so.
He thought to himself, "Should I tell him, should I lie, should I push him out of my grasp and run?"
Tails couldn't move, he couldn't speak, he was completely stunned.
So he just kissed him.
His lips lingered on Sonic's for a few seconds.
Then he realized what he had done...
