Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh. If I did, this would have actually happened xD

"Yugi?"

Yugi Moto paused when he heard his grandfather call him.

"Yugi? Would you come here for a minute please?"

He set his pencil in his textbook and headed down the stairs, curious as to what his grandfather could want.

Solomon Moto was sitting at the kitchen table reading a newspaper when his grandson appeared in front of him.

"Did you need something, Grandpa?"

"I just wanted to talk to you."

Yugi's brow creased in worry. Cautiously, he sat down in the chair across from his grandfather. "Is something wrong?"

"No, no," he chuckled. "Everything is fine. You're just growing up and there are a few things I need to discuss with you."

"Like what?"

Solomon interlaced his fingers and rested his head upon them, trying to gather the right words to say. "Yugi, first of all I want you to know that I'm here for you. If you ever need someone to talk to I'll always have ready ears."

"Thanks, Grandpa. I'll remember that," Yugi chimed.

"You're welcome. You can talk to me about anything, Yugi... Including girls."

"Huh?"

"Like I said earlier, you're growing up. You're sixteen now, and I know at this age hormones get to racing and-"

"Whoa Grandpa!" the teen's face turned cherry red as he realized where this was going.

Solomon laughed at his grandson's reaction. "Now, now. We both know it's true. And I can't help but notice how close you and Anzu have been lately."

"We're just friends," he replied.

"Friends can turn into something more in the blink of an eye, ya know," he countered with a wink.

Yugi facepalmed.

"All I'm saying is I want you to be careful. If you ever need to vent to someone about your relationships- or if you ever have a steamy story to tell-"

"Grandpa!"

"-just know that I'm always here to listen."

"Sure, thanks." Yugi said awkwardly. Thinking the chat was over, he hopped off of his chair and started towards his bedroom.

"One last thing, my boy."

"Hmm?"

"Well, like I said, I just want to make sure you're being careful."

"What do you mean?"

"Occasionally your, erm, urges will get the better of you and I hope you remember to use the proper protection when-"

"I'm going to go do my work now okay?" Yugi cut him off quickly. He bolted up the stairs before his grandfather had time to say anything else.

Solomon chuckled and sipped his coffee. "That's my grandson."
