Because I Love You!
Summary: Edward proposes to his girlfriend on her birthday. Will she say yes?

Because you're so special, I wrote you a little something to lighten up your birthday. I hope this makes you smile and may all your birthday wishes come true.

Her long dark golden hair tickled her face, swaying in the breeze coming in from the open window of her bedroom. She sighed softly as she sat on her bed… waiting.
"Rosalinda," a soft velvet voice spoke softly from behind her, making her spin around in surprise, "Happy Birthday." He put his arms around her, making her laugh. "What's so funny?" he asked curiously.
"Nothing," she told him with a smile, "You remembered."
"Why wouldn't I?" he responded as he pulled out a small box, "For you." He handed it to her gently so as not to break it.
"What is it?" she asked, taking it from him.
"Open it," he told her, "It's your present."
"You know you didn't have to," she remarked with a small smirk.
"I know," he spoke sincerely, "I wanted to."
She looked down at the small box and lifted the lid. She gasped. Inside was a simple ring. She looked back up at the gentle vampire, who was standing next to her, holding her so close in the dark.
"Marry me," he proposed, getting down on one knee and taking her hand in his, "Be mine forever."
"Does that mean…?" she began to ask.
"Yes." He nodded as he looked into her eyes. "We'll get married and then you can really start to share my life with me."
"So, you'll bite me?" she asked excitedly.
"If you'll marry me," he agreed as he stroked her hand.
"Yes! Oh, Edward, yes," she said and sighed as he slipped the ring on her left ring finger.
"Then, it's settled," he stated, standing up, "You'll become Mrs. Cullen on the day of your choosing."
"Just do me one favor," she said to him with a smile.
"Anything for you," he answered.
"Call me Roza," she told him and he hugged her tight.
"Of course," he answered and kissed her on the head, "Because I love you."
Come on, you know you want to smile at that. I wrote it especially for you. Happy birthday! May all your wishes come true!
But just do me one favor… Have Alice send me an invitation to the wedding. : )

Alrighty, I've edited this only by correcting grammatical errors and a wee bit of formatting. Everything else has stayed the same… because I love how cute this one-shot is. Heheh… So, to make it truly shine, I included it in my New Year's "spring cleaning".
I think this one is the 13th fic I've uploaded to my account… in case anyone was really curious to know.
