This is my first one-shot ^.^' I hope you like it
Chapter One: My Only
She sat soaking in the hot springs completely unaware that he watched.
She had her eyes closed and her head back just relaxing, but he felt she was taunting him, offering him the
challenge of trying. He crept slowly closer to the rock she was leaning against, saliently stalking her.
Once he was above her he knelt and put his mouth to her ear. "You should not relax so much that anyone
could come upon you." Her eyes flew open, her face aflame with red and started to scream. "INU-" He
covered her mouth with his instantly cutting off her scream. Her eyes, impossibly, got wider before slowly
closing. She sighed softly as he drew away from her. He looked at her curiously. "One would think you
wanted this by your reaction." She blushes again and looks away. "And what if I did…. Sesshomaru?"
"Then you would have your wish would you not?" "Yes, I suppose I would but why would you give it to
me? You don't even like me." "Now who said that?" He draws her close again. "I know I didn't."
Sesshomaru presses his face into he neck breathing deeply. "B-but why?" "Because I do like you Kagome.
You are strong, and independent. You are courageous, as is proven every time you defy me and your
SCENT, intoxicates me." "S-Sesshomaru… Do you love me?" He lifts his eyebrow and thinks about her
question. "Yes Kagome I think I do." She nods. "Ok then Sesshomaru, I love you too." They embrace and
spend the rest of the night next to the hot springs.
