Legend of Zelda
The Beginning
Disclaimer: I don't own Zelda.
Author's Note: This story came to me unlike most others, while I wrote in my diary; yes I have one. Scribbling small sequences that randomly popped into my head made me string them together and create even more; almost driving me mad. I've already created my own storyline for the Legend of Zelda, and after that I decided to leave it at one. Fate brought me to something new, random notches of importance. This, in no way, is connected to the actual story of the Legend of Zelda, but this makes me think more that it could be a possibility. Enjoy and please review.
"Arthur, come meet your little sister." His mother called.
Arthur stayed in a corner near the door to his mother's, the Queen's, room. Only recently did Arthur's mother give birth to a baby girl, and today the baby was healthy enough to be shown to the other members of the family. Arthur, unfortunately, despised the idea of a younger sister, he was pleased enough with his older one, Elizabeth. The difference wasn't much between him and Elizabeth, but the thought of a sister five years younger than him disgusted him even more. Elizabeth was only eight years old and quite matured for her age, she at least wasn't going to cry like crazy in order to be fed.
"Come on Arthur. She's so cute!" Elizabeth exclaimed, the baby giggling.
Arthur glanced behind him towards the baby crib where small hands twirled around, trying to grasp Elizabeth's own slightly larger ones. He quickly turned his head back to the wall in disgust. He would of been better off suited with a baby brother then a sister, he huffed and began to scratch the carpeted floor with his fingernail. "I don't want a baby sister!" He announced, keeping his head turned and to the wall.
The sound of large boots thudded against the ground and approached Arthur from behind. Arthur was suddenly lifted into the air by large hands and he started to kick around and squirm around in the grip of his father's strong hands.
"Come now Arthur, she wants to meet you." Arthur's father rumbled, sitting down next to the crib on a chair and placing Arthur on his knee. Arthur responded by closing his eyes and turning his heads away, crossing his arms in fury. His prospect was if he didn't see it, it didn't exist.
Arthur's father chuckled and unfolded his arms, something heavy was placed inside them. Arthur opened his eyes in surprise and gazed down at the sleeping baby in his arms.
"Her name is Zelda. Say hello." Arthur's father said, smiling at Arthur's surprised expression. Elizabeth and their mother both smiled as well as Arthur gently touched the soft baby skin cheek and marveled at the beauty.
The baby Zelda fingered Arthur's red tunic in its sleep, cuddling close to the source of warmth. Arthur softly ran his hand through the baby's dirty blonde hair, his face shining brightly at he smiled. Secretly, to himself, he vowed no one would ever harm his baby sister.
"Hello Zelda."
